A day spent in dark shadows,
A life living in deep regret.

A love hoping at forever,
A wish waiting to be fulfilled.

Love's journey end in sight,
Travelers parting on their ways.

Will there be a new morning?
After I close my eyes to your heart?

It seems I write better when my life's path has been covered by clouds of despair.

Light will always be at the end of the tunnel. Just hum your way through the darkness for now GH.

If life is like a journey, I am in a tunnel where darkness reigns supreme.
Life is not the destination, but I truly wish I was there already.

When a heavy burden weighs you down, just remember: This, too, shall pass.

Life is never the destination, it is the journey. Imagine a train ride forever going in one direction. Maybe it just so happened that the passenger beside you had to leave at a station to catch another train.

Have you watched Eurotrip? If you have, you'll know that tunnels can be quite an experience too. Enjoy the ride, and don't forget to enjoy the view.

Time heals all things. Give yourself a break, and take it easy for now. It will soon clear up and you will see much better then.

In my case, the train probably derailed.

yup

Actually, I've been to europe and have ridden on some of the trains there.

I know time heals (nearly) all things... that is why I wrote, "Life is not the destination, but I truly wish I was there already". I simply wish all the hurt can be done and over with so I can move on.

If you want to be technical, this process will go through the DABDA. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. Where do you think you are now? I'm guessing you're still depressed and have already gone through the first 3 phases since you still have yet to move on, which requires that you accept what you have now.

I'll get back on this when I get to "acceptance"... I just have to get to finish something before that stage.

You need to see a doctor or talk to God through prayers.

The Doom and Gloom
-GH (Feb 07)

It is the realization of something that cannot be denied.
It is the surrender of one's hope to the forces it cannot conquer.
It is the loss of hope for tomorrow can be a better day.
It is the extinguish of the flame that shines your way.

It is getting blown down by the winds of fate.
It is the realization that you are utterly lost.
It is the complete darkness.
It is the pain in my heart.

pessimism......it's normal but not necessarily harmful.

Unsuspecting, the way you cross my mind
Who could've known you'd be so real
But unrelenting, the grip that lives around you, give me a sign
So I can rescue you, and save the day, yeah

Bring in the rain, bring in the shine
Let it go stop wasting time, I'm calling out to you
And don't chase the sun, don't race the sky
Let it go stop wasting time
And I'm calling out to you
I'm calling out to you

Fascinating, how moments feel sublime
Seems like I'm glowing when you're near
But unavailing, when you pay no mind
or you're twisting every other line
baby say the words I'll rescue you and make you mine
