one or two water circulation jets to keep the water moving.

one or two water filtration systems to keep the water clear and clean.

sufficient backup power so your fish does not die when power goes out.

i have a 50-galon tank with some koi in it.

its a nice and simple setup with attractive fish naman.

i change water every 2 weeks and put a handfull of rocksalt and methaline blue.

like what brader gh said, i also have a backup air pump that is battery operated in case me brownout.

ang daling mamatay ng mga isda pag walang hangin na pumapasok sa tubig.

mag-invest ka na rin sa magandang klase ng mga nets at cleaning implements.

kung fresh water ang tank mo, get a couple of janitor fish.

kakainin nila yung mga lumot sa tank so mas onti lang ang lilinisin mo.

also, research on a good (and cheap) fish food that won't make your water murky.

all in all, its a light commitment to have one pero satisfying ang me ganito sa house.

    nakaka-relax.

is 10-20k more than enough? also meron ba mag service, let's say i just tell them what i want and the budget then they'll do every thing for you?

also thanks for the advice, wala talaga kasi ako alam when it comes to fish tanks since this will be my first.

i like salt water fishes kasi mas madami maganda kesa fresh water. sample na lang yung clown fish, angel fish and seahorse.

10k for a fresh water tank (30gals) plus maybe 10 small ornamental fish is enough.

depending on the type of fish that you would put on your tank, pwedeng mas mura o mas mataas pa.

a water and air pump for it would cost around 500 pesos.

filter system would cost another 500 pesos.

water tratment (m. blue) is only about 100 pesos per small bottle.

best thing is to look for a pet shop outside malls. para mas mura ang mga gamit at isda.

if you can go to pasay cartimar, i think they have loads of aquarium stuff there.

as to the service you were asking, i suggest you just DIY it, brader.

its not that difficult and its really fun lalo na pag natapos mo na.

mahirap ang salt water aside from filters, which every aquarium needs eh kailagan pa ng chiller. UV lights etc.

sa budget mo na let;s say 20k, depende sa filter na gagamitin mo, 6 years ako nagpagawa ako ng stand and 5'x3'x3' na tank. it cost me around more or less 14k+ na, plus I used 2 pcs Eheim canisted filter, bili ko dati 6k* yata. plus the fish pa which is arowana 25k naman yun it depends sa aaalagan mong fish yun type ng filter.

mahirap talaga maintenance ng salt water pero pag maayos naman maganda tingnan.

May mga computation pa yan bro. Yung wattage ng ilaw, yung size ng fish naka depende sa volume ng tubig.

At syempre yung ugali ng mga isda. Yung iba masyadong territorial kaya inaaway nila yung ibang isda.

^^ brader shadow, di ba fresh water fish ang arowana?

my bro had grown a silver to at least 3 ft and my old man had a footlong malaysian gold both in fresh water.
