LCDs produce pictures via back light, while Plasmas use gas. Plasma produces "real black" while LCD is something like a "dark brown black" compared to Plasma. However, Plasmas consume more power than LCDs. Sabi nga ng iba, mas tatagal daw ang Plasma kesa LCD.

Go for the Plasma.

Ours is Sony Bravia LCD. Mahal kasi kuryente....... So far, we're satisfied with it.
