It's probably a compound nuclear device to have such an exposive yield. It will denonate. If it does have a misfire, the yield will only be smaller.

russia is probably the most radioactive country in the world. lots of places have been used to dump radioactive wastes, and most of the nukes they never got to use are probably wasting away, leaking radioactive crap all over the place. and some radioactive materials take around 200 years to break down. scary indeed
