that is what's delegation is all about.
ako kasi dito sa office, i delegate decisions on a per level basis.
kinoconsult lang ako kung medyo alanganin.
let's say, i give authority for our senior sales guy to decide on margins.... nagbibigay lang ako ng range.
sa operational naman and sa technical. most decisions are done by the technical head.

Different business environment, culture and attitude of the people have different approach in meeting.
pwedeng daily 15mins, weekly, or monthly... minutes, hours or days ang meeting depende yun sa nagpapameeting and response nang mga tao sa meeting.
Meron nagpapameeting just to get input and getting results also meron naman iba... kaya depende sa culture nang mga tao.

I had numerous status meetings for a project in Australia and the way they do there is everybody in a roundabout fashion, will say their own status on what they had done for the week and what their next tasks is and others may react. They keep it very brief. The meeting never last for more than an hour. If there are unresolved items, it will be settled in the next meeting. Very effective in my opinion.

Less meeting time = More tsikot time.
Sa haba at useless ng ibang meetings, I already surf the net on my mobile (in guise of doing emails).

minsan bisitang pari pala namin nagtanong.
