, pati yung mga parks like the one at quirino ave. paco area.

surely, avenida is one of the many spots worth uplifting for tourist attractions..

institution na yan where relics abound like luneta, paco park, old manila cathedral and its surroundings, escolta, etc. (smokey mtn/tondo, excuse me)..

tagal ko nang hindi nakakalakad jan mula ng magka-LRT na; lampas-lampasan na lang talaga and will never regain its glorious past pag hindi ginastusan at pinalayas ang mga bad elements dyan; sayang..

only the oldies can appreciate how these sights looked like ages ago..the way they were on sepia-colored photographs my erpat & his sisters treasured back in their late teens & early twenties..

mayor, dont miss this rare chance to leave a lasting legacy; let's look back and give justice to our pasts.. paki-approve naman ng funds for these worthwhile projects, please.

There's many ways to beautify Manila without closing down the national road. For one thing, why not revived Luneta Park? We visited Luneta 2 months ago, napakababoy na. It's not the same Luneta I visited when I was a kid. And many more ideas.

The problem with Avenida is, lahat ng jeep have to re-route through Doroteo Jose by making a right turn and then a left turn at T. Mapua, which is only 2 lane street. Dito ang barado sa traffic. Wala talagang ibang solution other than open up Avenida. Lahat ng kinausap kong jeep/taxi/pedicab drivers, talagang galit hangang ngayon. Hirap na talaga sila. If that's not enough, mga pasahero kalat kalat na.

All the great old movie houses have closed down. It has turned into a pukpuk paradise (Sir....gusto mo ng short time? 300 lang.). Even at 6 am!!

Monseratto, giniba na ang Odeon cinema. Gagawin daw department store. Buti nga eh, kadiri na tingnan. Pagnatapos ang construction nito atsaka SM San Lazaro, who would go to Avenida park to shop?
