Just been in duty free(Paranaque)..

wala na ba yung mga good deals on consumer electronics? the RP duty free had the best selection and prices when i went there many years ago. talo pa niya ang kahit anong duty free sa North America or Europe....

Yung chocolates and candies section, parang palengke na.

"Sir, ma'am, Hersheys po dito, me free mugs for every pack..."

"Sir, ma'am, Cadburry here, buy 2 packs and get a free bag..."

And etc... etc... etc... Halos sabay-sabay pa mag-alok. Ang gulo.

hahaha napansin mo din? went to duty free last month lang and inis na inis ako sa mga nagbebenta ng chocolates. tama ka. para na talagang palengke. and yung structure itself, medyo nag-deteriorate na. medyo nakakahiya ipakita sa mga foreign guests natin, especially since sobrang ganda ng duty free shops sa ibang bansa.

and yes, its been more than a year din since i last went to duty free kaya ramdam na ramdam ko ang deterioration. most lamentable nga is quality of service.

hmmmm almost 4 yrs na yata ako na di nagdo-duty free......I usually go there for the liquior.....mas mura kase...hehehehe

nung last na pumunta kami btw...may cashier na nakawala ng $100 bill from an American shopper. the American handed her the bill and she turned away to put his stuff in a bag, when she turned back it was nowhere to be found.

naawa ako kasi dumating yung manager at kukunin yata daw sa sweldo niya yung nawalang pera....ilang linggong sweldo niya kaya yung $100?

we just go there for the groceries ... cheaper than S & R.

although bad trip kahapon ... nasira yung POS system nila ang tagal na hantay sa cashier... iniwan na lang namin ang cart.

napansin din namin na medyo marami na ang mga namimili compared to the last few times we were there.

lufthansa frequent flier ako ang current mileage ko ay 142,000+miles na lang kasi panay avail ko ng freebies. target ko yung sony latest audio system sa duty free kahapon bali 599usd dito pero 459usd lang sa abroad anyway ipa door to door pa yung galing sa abroad kaya halos pareho lang.

went there last month, not much diff sa price sa labas, so kelangan pagsundo mo ng dumating deretso na dun para di lugi sa gasolina. and kakapikon yung mga sales rep ng chocolates and alak ang iingay, meron pa nag sabi sa amin ng..."sir, dito ka na sa amin bumili maawa naman kayo..." kami naman huh? ano yun? naglilimos?

last year ang huli kung punta,bale chocolate at alak lang ang tinda w/ freebies yong dati na electronics at some nike,adidas parang wala na.

Just went there last thursday. Mas mura pa rin ang Lacoste dun kesa sa labas. Pati mga maleta mura din dun. Yung mga liquor nila, almost same nalang ang price sa labas, ang lamang lang sa duty free is may mga free items like bags, etc.

Mura din pala mga cosmetics dun.
