    imo mas magandang mag-start ng sarili mong business lalo na kung may experience or background ka na...medyo may matitipid ka pa lalo na yung mga franchise fees..

    but if you have enough capital , walang previous experience at gustong nakahain na ang lahat sa iyo then go for it...

    meron dito malapit sa amin...minsan marami, minsan konti rin ang bumibili pero maganda ang location niya...heavy foot traffic kasi dito sa intersection ng j.p. rizal at chino roces (pasong tamo-PRC area)...sa tapat naman namin, meron ditong small bakery...dami ring bumibili...24 hours nga siya...crucial talaga sa business yung location

    happy_gilmore: balita ko kay Vince (blackmagic) yung pinaggayahan ng GoNuts na US company will be venturing dito soon, mawawala siguro GoNuts kasi imitation din sila kung tutusin. hehe might not be a good idea.

    agree ako kay chieffy, if the concept is simple tapos tipong the brand name isn't that big of a deal (such as a quickie mart like Ministop), kahit anong name man yan, basta maliwanag, madami dami laman, 24hrs... ganyan din potential. Ibang usapan naman 7-11 hehe. Pero mga ministop et al na local, i dont think you need to franchise kasi binebenta mo is available elsewhere, convenience ang talagang selling point mo.

    odell: kahit kelan, *** and drugs mabenta... ganun din life or death (hospital - funeral parlor) hehe.

    ang franchise ng convenience store na nakita ko last year was 1M. breadwinner yata yun if i remember right. the franchise cost of 7/11 was much much much (no typo, 3xmuch) higher. of that 1M, 350k is actaual merchandise, the other 650k pays for the fridges, freezers, shelves, lighted sign, cash register, and training of staff including management. di pa sama renovation ng place and lease dun sa 1M so expect total innitial capital to reach 1.2-1.3M.

    then it's 60/40, meaning they get 40% of your gross profit. gross ha, hindi net.

    imho, for 1.2M or even less (depends on how much you will spend on renovation of the place) pwede ka na magtayo ng 2 convenience stores, or halve your innitial capital to 600k and have 1 store w/ your own business name on it. and you get to keep 100% of your earnings. why does it have to be '7/11' or 'ministop'? why not your lucky number, or 'bigstop'? "odell's"? "theveed's pitstop"? "x-wind corner"? "chieffy-chieffy"? or "gretz-mo!"?

    di lang pwede "djerms minimart", matatakot mga tao hehehe! gets? germs, then you sell food hehehe!

    My friend inquired about mini stop and IMO, gagamitin lang ng mga gokongwei ang pera mo, sila ang yayaman hindi ikaw. Investment palang pigang piga ka na. Plus, you will have to get supplies from them everyday. Tapos, bawat kanto ngayon, panay Mini Stop na...ewan, doesnt look like a good investment for me. Ako balak ko magtayo ng talyer. hehe.
