Agree 100%. It needs to be taken off our roads. Even the G-liners here in San Juan. God! Have you seen how big their cockroaches are in those G-liners going to TayTay/Cainta? Not to mention it is dark and gloomy inside with almost black curtains because they haven't washed it probably since they started rolling.

no din ako. driver dapat ung i-phase out. hehe.

back in HS there was this guy who had a suggestion for the jeepney mess...

basically, replace two jeepneys with one minibus; dalawang tsuper ung mag aalternate as driver/conductor, then hati sila sa kita at the end of the day.

problema, saan ipapark ung bus? B).

The higher fine, the better.

Good Point! He he he!!

nice topic.

jeepneys should'nt be allowed to pass by the main streets, but we cannot completely phase them out coz they are undeniable a much preferred mode of transpo of the commuters.

dapat lang i regulate na maigi...stricter implementation of rules and guidelines....ngayon kung kaya ng gobyerno or kahit na sinong nasa private sector bigyan ng ibang hanapbuhay lahat ng PUJ driver dito sa Pinas eh bakit hindi?

kaya NO...hanapbuhay iyan eh...

ok lang siguro sa mga small streets kasi wala nang ibang mode of transpo, wag lang sa mga major roads and highways or kahit tanggalin yung mga sobrang luma delikado kasi for both motorist and passengers.

I disagree with phasing them out. But some older jeepneys should be removed from the streets, not only are they an eyesore but they are an accident waiting to happen.

I think stricter rules in safety and emmisions is in order... Phasing it out is logical due to those two reasons. But if they can maintain good quality and safety, ok lang sakin.

As for jeeps causing traffic, no... that's not right, the drivers cause traffic, not the jeeps, you can give them all S-Class benzes and they'll still drive the same way.
