Does anyone heard about this?
It is a language test designed to assess an individual's language ability in English. It also become a language requirement for immigration and work permits in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Sa ngayon may pending application ako para makapag-migrate sa Canada and to facilitate my application expeditiously, I was advised to take and pass this test. The test includes reading, writing, speaking and listening based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks. May reviewer ako sa ngayon, and sobra hirap talaga...don't know kung mapasa ko to (sana!). I have to be prepared because the examination fee is about Php7,700 so sayang ang pera!
Baka may knowledge kayo dito or some of your friends o relatives took the exams...pahingi naman ng tips!
Thanks

In other words, communication skills.
Wala akong maibigay na tips, just do the exercises on the study guide.
Goodluck kapatid.

Kaya ang naipayo ko lang sa kanya eh do as much practice question he can do before the actual exam.

ok kayang kaya mo yan.. good luck!

ang alam ko, since high school and college graduate ka (are you?),
pwede kang humingi ng certification from your alma mater regarding English proficiency, o kung ano man ang tawag nmila doon.

May illustration na graph and kailangan discuss mo kung ano interpretation mo sa graph in 250 words..Wow! For a while nagduda ako sa kapabilidad ko but from your advise Pare kayang kaya 'to.
Sa ngayon, I am taking up Masteral class dito sa local school sa amin. I already requested a certification from the school certifying that English is the medium of instructions...but still i need to get that IELTS.

nope. English language in class sa Pinas is optional not mandatory so that makes Pinas ineligible for English proficiency exemption. Kung hindi ka born and raised [sa US for example], English is your second language kaya may tinatawag na TOEFL.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): The University does not require TOEFL from US citizens. Permanent residents whose undergraduate institution is outside of the United States and not from an English speaking country will be required to demonstrate their English language proficiency by sitting for TOEFL. The minimum TOEFL score as set by the Graduate Council is 550 (213 for computer based test), although for most graduate programs their minimum may be as high as 600, particularly if financial assistance is required. TOEFL scores are valid for two years from anticipated date of entrance. The Institutional Code for the University of Massachusetts Amherst is 3917.
TOEFL is NOT required if an applicant satisfies one or more of these conditions:
Citizenship of Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, New Zealand, Guyana, an Anglophone country of Africa, or an English speaking country of the Caribbean.
A college or university degree earned in the United States or in one of the countries listed above.
A degree earned from the American University in Beirut, American University in Bulgaria, American College in Greece or from Bogazigi University.
