[SIZE="3"]If your girlfriend or boyfriend (or even fiance) is in a deep coma (for whatever reason) ...

Would you wait for them to wake up or move on with your life?

Assume it has been a few years already...

hirap naman ng tanong mo sir gh...

ako kasi, lagi ko sinasabi sa nagiging gf ko na, i promise i won't leave you kahit na ano mangyari. so, i'll stay to her side as what i said to her. i am a man with a word at ayoko sa lahat ang sumira ng salita. if i say, that will stay...

Even if half a decade has passed and she is still in a deep coma with no signs of recovery?

yeah... mas gugustuhin ko na i'll find a new one when she is dead. pero as long as she is in that state with a slight chance of waking up, hindi ko iiwan...

Not really morbid. Just something that has definite no right or wrong answer.
Do you place your life on "hold" (for years and years) to wait for the loved one to somehow "wake up" and hopefully be normal? OR do you move on with your life and maybe have a family with someone else?

i wont wait for that long. maybe i can wait for a year but more... maybe not.

and if she is in coma for that long, i suggest mercy killing. i do not want to prolong her agony

GF: Case to case. Depends on the current state of our relationship; ie. how deep is it.

    Fiance: I'll wait, absolutely.
