    Conversion/Custom vans. They were all the rage back in the 70's and 80's. Scooby Doo cartoons, A-Team, etc.

    A 1972 or 1977 Volkswagen Beetle. I'd restore the body and interior to period-correct ones. Some purists would say adding an aircon and modern radio/cd player would be sacrilege.

    i'd go out and buy a brand new altis.

    remind yourself of this, when you are caught in noonday traffic in cubao.
    we had beetles, kombi, brasilia.. to all of them we put in aircons.
    and not for a moment did we feel sacrilegious.

    LOL...

    A rule of thumb is to never have a project car as your daily drive. Go ahead and have that quirky, fussy, maarte project car which you can work on, drive and enjoy on a Sunday so long as you have that Altis for the daily drive.
