A 1972 or 1977 Volkswagen Beetle. I'd restore the body and interior to period-correct ones. Some purists would say adding an aircon and modern radio/cd player would be sacrilege.

A rule of thumb is to never have a project car as your daily drive. Go ahead and have that quirky, fussy, maarte project car which you can work on, drive and enjoy on a Sunday so long as you have that Altis for the daily drive.
