I lost my 02 XDA mini

i'm not quite sure if somebody picked it or if i forgot it. i was in cucina victoria when i last used the phone. the last thing i remember is that i texted a friend, asking about her health, and then i put the phone down (not sure if in my bag or on the table) and we settled our bill.

about 5 minutes ladies, we proceeded to ladies restroom at the gf. i don't recall taking out the phone from my bag (though i could have).

about 10 minutes later, we proceeded to mimi ( a shop at the 2f) and that was when i opened my bag to check my phone to see if my friend responded to my text message. and when i realized that my phone was gone. we went back to cucina victoria and to the ladies restroom, but no sign of my phone. we tried to call up my number pero "out of reach" na. i figured one of two things lang yun: 1. nasa dead spot; or 2. the person who got it must have known how to tinker with it para ma "flight mode". a person unfamiliar with the 02 wouldn't have known how to turn off the signal.

i called up globe and asked for the disconnection of my line. left my card with both the resto and rockwell guards, in case somebody returns my phone. 5 days later, still no response.

i liked the idea of having a pda/phone, so i was thinking of getting the atom (Until i saw pajerokid's comments about it). maybe the treo? or maybe i'll get separates - the moto razr and the palm t/x. bahala na. probably not another mini, parang maiiyak ako pag nakita ko. hay buhay.

Contrary to my earlier statement, I'm thinking of picking up an Atom... maybe even this afternoon, if budget permits. I'll just pray that the folks from Quanta get their act together. Sanay naman ako maging guinea pig hehe. Daming kong devices na initially buggy, but eventually umayos naman due to ROM patches.

Nga pala ma'am, FYI lang. Yung XDA Mini Black Edition goes for 24k na lang sa Greenhills. You might want to check it out. No problems din naman kasi when you sync your new device, automatically uploaded ang contacts mo from outlook.

sayang nga gusto ku panaman nung black edition nun, anu pa difference niya besides the color? may wifi naba? will try to pass by gh kung maaga makauwi from office baka pwede pa itrade hehe wag lang sana may dagdag sorry for OT

After two months and no less than THREE rom updates to the Atom, it can now be considered workable and almost stable, so if you know how to tinker with PPCs, i can say that its relatively safe to get one already.......

of course if you can stomach the 55k entry fee!!! Potek yan!!! I'd rather get a frickin laptop!

Trade in ko na lang yung mini ko next year for the Atom! ;)

Purely cosmetic lang ang difference. If you want a mini with wifi, try to source a Dopod 818pro. Wala lang kasi locally.

OT: heared about this program na pag nawala ang Phone mo or you inserted a new or different SIM mag automatic SEND ng SMS sa assigned number mo.... I can't remember saan flash disk ko na i save di ko rin ma alala anong file name hayyy (tumatanda na)

miLes, ibang klaseng processor kasi gamit ng Dopod, hindi intel, OMAP. gawa ng Texas Instruments.
