April 14th, 2007 08:58 AM #11Hmmm...After doing some more research, parang mas maganda nga talaga kung mag day trip lang sa Hundred Islands.

April 15th, 2007 11:47 AM #14No prob. Nga pala, tiningnan ko din yung ibang questions dun e, lumalabas, yung rates na yan is just to visit 1 of the islands, kung gusto mo mag island hopping add 200 pa daw for 4 islands ata or 3 lang, not sure. tapos 100/island in excess.

In about the same time last year, we rented out medium boat that accomodated 8 adults for 800 pesos, we just added 200 para makapag-island hopping (all islands na yun). Then we rented din ung snorkel for 60 pesos a piece para dun sa area ng large clams...super ganda! Good thing a friend brought her underwater cam.
We arrived there 5am at first stop was Childrens Island were camp temporarily. Cottage is 150. Dun muna kami nagluto ng bfast and lunch. Stayed there until about we finished eating at 11am. Then next is Quezon, swimming for another hour, then Snorkel sa Giant Clams which is located sa gitna ng dagat pero medyo mababaw naman water but I would advise to use lifevests. Then just before sunset balik sa Lucap na.Last edited by vhenok; April 18th, 2007 at 04:55 PM. Coming from BAguio (Pang-iwas URDANETA)
In Rosario (La Union) there's a Y-intersection, before reaching yung bridge na boundary ng LU at Pangasinan (Arch of Welcome to La Union).
Take the San Fabian - Mangaldan - DAgupan - Lingayen- Labrador - Sual - Alaminos route. Medyo scenic route dito since tabing dagat yung hiway ng San Fabian - Mangaldan - Dagupan.
Or
Drive down MArcos or Kennon all the way to Sison and Pozzorubio. Right ka sa junction then go towards the direction of San Jacinto- - Mangaldan - Dagupan - Lingayen - Labrador - Sual - Alaminos.Last edited by vhenok; April 18th, 2007 at 04:56 PM. Reason: add

You only need to be there sa Lucap Port at the earliest possible time para di maubusan ng boat if ever. From Manila, usually alis kami ng 12 midnight and arrival in Alaminos is between 5am to 6am, just in time to do some Market chores sa pamilihang bayan. Been there 7 times for the last 3 years (pero di pa this year, we are considering Bolinao naman). Tapos dun sa Tourism Office sa Lucap, you need to register lahat ng names ng pupunta sa islands for proper documentation and also dun ka pipili ng island of your choice. Payment is 10 pesos per head, in return bigyan ka nila ng brochure. Dito ka din bayad ng Parking, so lahat ay properly noted and may mga receipts, also yung cottages ng island of your choice is dito din babayaran.
Since water is scarce sa island, advise na din to bring lots of drinking water. Meron dun kaso panghugas lang and would be limited to certain use lang. Sa Lucap meron namang Public Shower Rooms pagbalik nyo from the islands na well-maintained with a fee of 10 pesos.

April 25th, 2007 06:17 PM #19Ayos a... Baka kaya magkasabay sabay pa tayo dun hehe...
5. UP Marine Science Institute.

Up lang po, planning to have a trip next week.
Ano po shortest route papunta Hundred Islands coming from Manila? Detailed sana, since 1st time to go there.
Or if you want stay kayo sa town before Alaminos which is Sual and Labrador.
Bolinao (Puerto del Sol)
