I was able to pass by that area for the first time in my entire life about a month ago and I was surprised to find out that main roads in QC like Mindanao Avenue and Agham Road had so many squatters.
Large areas in Quezon City were big empty grasslands when we first moved in in the 70's. Kunti lang ang tao nuon. Even the time of Marcos, most squatters colonies I remembered were in Manila. Pero after People Power 1 and Jun Simon became OIC of Quezon City, naging free for all yung tayuan ng mga colonies.

Seriously?!! Boni Station na? Malaking ka pestehan yan. Kung ganiyan din lang I won't even attempt to go North anymore.

I have a feeling walang traffic mamaya sa south kasi lahat na stuck sa North.

Squatters go against nature's law. Natural selection states that only the ones strong enough to survive get to pass on their genes and have their lineage continue.

I have a right to use resources and utilities because I am a productive member of society. These people - and I am using the term loosely - waste and pollute without giving anything in return. WALA SILANG KWENTA. If this were the jungle and we are following nature's rules, these useless carcasses would be long dead. In nature, if you cannot hunt, you die. If you cannot run away from predators, you die. In society, if you can hold out your hand, you get to live.

It's election time again. The tyranny of the poor lives on...

Informal Settlers is a more politically correct term for SQUATTING!
