How often do you use your car's horn?

How often do I use my car's horn? Whenever I see my usual nemeses. Buses (esp the EDSA Buses), jeeps, tricycles and taxis.

No but seriously, I use my horn sparingly. My pet peeve is when motorists abuse the use of their vehicles horn...but that's just me...

Don't you hate it, in a stoplight, the moment the light turns green, the taxi behind you honks his horn? Arrrrgh!

how often do you use your horns (busina)?

Most of the time, never. But, I did use the horn often for a short time in Turkey. Over there, that's how motorists say hello. I guess they liked the rental turbocharged Opel Vectra I was driving. Of course, I returned the favor everytime. I used the car horn there in that short period more than in my whole lifetime elsewhere.

i use my passing light aka flasher, more often than my horns.

i remember my late godmother, who's deaf, told me before to not use my horn that much, telling me what if the driver in front of me is deaf.

Seldom do I use my horn. Nakaka-asar kapag ikaw ang binubusinahan, and I'd rather drive defensively rather than always "complain" using my horn.

Just drive slooooooooowly...

Minsan may bumusina sa akin, binusinahan ko, busina ulit siya, busina ulit ako, aba, busina ulit siya...nothing angry parang trip lang na tap of the horn pero di ko kilala. Ayaw magpatalo ng mokong!

Completely agree with you...

I remember when I was driving in California last 2003, I never noticed anyone blowing their horn, I understand it's very rare that a motorist blows his horn there. And when they do, it's almost like cussing at the other motorist.

Is that right mbeige?
