How long does your full tank take you?

tank volume is 42 liters and i usually re-fill once the warning lamp lits (indicating there are less than 8 liters left in the tank - as per manual) and at this time 550km (on the average) is on the trip meter.

Quite suprised that theres a big variance of mileage achieved on a full tank. All the while, I thought manufacturers size up the tank based on how much fuel it consumes to make 500 to 600 kms. So if you are making 500 to 600kms on your vehicles...then you are should be okay.

Capacity of Innova fuel tank is 55 liters. If I'm making 8 kms per liter in city driving, it would run up to 440 kms. In highway, say I'm making 11 kms per liter, 605 kms.

my car took me around 450 km with a V8 engine, A/T. every week ako pakarga ng full tank..

with my cefiro, I get around 300-340kms on a full tank. City driving.

don;t have the exact numbers, basta pag dating ng half full, pakarga na ulit....around 3-4 days siguro half tank ubos na...

I voted in the 200-300km mark but I honestly don't know the exact mileage.

I drive an '06 Dmax and as far as I'm concerned super tipid talaga

this may be a misleading comparo because of the differences in fuel tank size, and the different driving conditions in the Philippines and abroad (i notice quite a few posters, including myself, coming from out of the country).

but here goes, anyway:

my car: a 5300 lb SUV with A/T, AWD
fuel capacity: 26.4 gal (about 100 liters)

i just did a long road trip on friday/sat, with 100% highway driving and the tank lasted me 424 miles (682 km).

for normal 50% city/50% hiway driving, i average about 300 miles per tank, or 482 km.

dati minaneho ko yung 2005 honda city CVT namin to bicol, mga 400+km yun, pagdating namin dun, sakto nasa halfway mark yung gas needle. a honda city has a tank capacity of 42 liters, so I'm assuming more or less 20-25 liters lang nagamit, so at least 20km/L ang consumption. re-established the consumption when super tsikoteer niky and I joined a honda econo-run years back. got 23.23km/L. :D

a full tank would yield at least 800km. pero yung petron challenge nga at least 1000km e. hehe.
