If you're getting regular MBA , go for UP Diliman. What's good in AGSB is their MBA program for managers. I am also not sure if the diploma issued in AGSB now is under ADMU. I have several classmates than transferred from AGSB since the diploma they issue is not a University diploma then. Most employers abroad prefer university diplomas.

THis year lilipat na ako sa LPU. Same tuition fee
So yung bagong PATTS ngayon wala pa ding aircon ang room nila?? yan ba yung nasa Sucat Road? dati kasi nasa mia road din yan malapit sa Airlink.

Not so true. From batch 99 ako. I entered the school at 778 per unit. Nung gumraduate ako nasa 1200 per unit nasa Mapua.

Batch 98 ang swerte sila yung batch na di tumataas ang tuition.

Actually, Dr. Bernie Villegas was called the Prophet of Boom, because he always gave a rosy diagnosis of the local economy during his time (late 80's to early 90's). He was the older brother of my professor, Dr. Edberto Villegas, who was the Chairman of the Department of Social Sciences at UP Manila.

They were polar opposites, medyo left-leaning kasi si Ed, tapos anti-establishment, while the economist Villegas was a liberal economist and pro-government. Me and my classmates always teased him about it. Yung oldest brother nila is Jose M. Villegas, who once ran for Senator, pero talo.

Para on-topic: During my time in UP Manila, Php 40++ lang per unit ang tuition (1988), then the folowing year, Bracket 9 agad ako (Php 150 per unit), so around Php 6k++ lang pag full load. Di rin ganun kabilis yung pagtaas ng tuition compared to other schools.

ako nalang din halos nag paaral sa sarili ko i have 2 jeeps and 1 apartment . kumikita sila ng 28,500 a months ( less 5k for maintenance ng jeep)

Parehong magandang option...depende na lang what do you want to take and what your future plans - Ateneo will have rich classmates, so merun ka ring advantage in terms if business connections kung MBA ang plan mo. Kung law, I'd would be bias towards UPD. Kung leaning towards becoming a professor someday, go for UPD ulit.

Sir, my purpose on asking such question is that, ung UP Diliman or Ateneo ba ang recognize university dito sa atin sa ibang bansa? para at least pag nasa abroad ma credit ang masters degree mo from an accredited university.

sa taas ng tuition ngayon sa top universities, worth it pa rin ba ang binabayad ng mga magulang nila for their tuition fees?

kapitbahay namin, nag college ng nursing and naka grad na, ayun nakatunganga lang, wala daw tumatanggap sakanya. ang ginawa nag piloto, eh di panibagong aral nanaman, such a waste of time. pano kasi nakiuso, nag nursing siya kasi uso daw nurse nung mag college na siya, what a dumb reason.

Ako Php45.50 lang per sem sa UP dahil anak ng empleyado. Minsan may additional Php50 fine pag na-late sa registration hehehe.

I am hoping I'll pay the same amount when my son goes to college.

I went to college at AMACC-QC (now AMA Computer University, I believe) back in 1992 to 1996.
I think we paid about P5,500 per trisem on my first year and about P7500 or 8K during my senior year.

My sister went to UST (1993 to 1997). She paid about P5K on her first sem. 2nd sem up until she graduated - about P25K to P30K if my memory serves me right.
Those are cheap if you compare them here in the US.

    A 5-day IT course is about $4K to 5K.
For my masters - they are charging $32K for the whole thing!

Bro.,- It is spending like P200K in tuition every year.

    Plus P300*300days= P90K sa baon or P100K

    Plus Miscellaneous = P50K

That would be P350K a year..... Investment daw!....

That amount, my parents did not spend for my whole life's education (until college of course)....

    20.9K:lotsocoffee:

I bet sir greenlyt is sending his son to DLSU.
Ganyan din akin nung frosh ako e, pero it goes down to around 50K kapag nasa 3rd year ka na.

Sa akin, tuition ko this 2nd term is 20K, 4 units lang.
Actually dapat 11K, pero may miscellaneous and lab fees kaya tumaas.
