Bro- Exposure to the elements resulting in compromised packaging. And, possible modifications that were done to enhance performance which could have resulted to accelerated wear and tear. No user serviceable part, too. I am wary of the technology which I am supposed to be comfortable with....

In the case of DSLRs, the used units I look at are slightly used camera bodies that are less than a year old. They come with 3-year Canon warranties, so even if I buy a 1 year old body, it still has 2 years warranty left. These units also have low shutter counts, just about 5,000 actuations, which is still very far from the rated 300,000 actuations before failure. These things are all stock too with nothing modifiable internally. Comes with the box and all the standard packaging too.

So it's basically 99% new at 85% of the price, kaya ako nanghihinayang. [emoji17]

Siguro I just felt so repressed since every toy I've bought so far (computers, cameras, bikes, etc), I bought secondhand because I always go for the best value and marunong naman akong tumingin ng used stuff. Tapos bigla lang akong napa-splurge sa bnew just to know how it feels, even if it's not the best-value option.

It's an internal struggle since my default setting is always looking for the best-value deal. Sabi nga ni redlantern, release your urges. Sayang lang di ako nakapag-bubble bath.

Most of my pics with the new cam are of people so they're not for Tsikot consumption hehe. Took a few landscape shots although I would've been able to take them even with my old 550D since it's outdoors, only difference is that I could easily transfer them to my phone via WiFi.
