I cried watching Jessica Soho. I don't even like the beach, in fact I hate it, but it was refreshing seeing people outside without masks. I miss that freedom and normalcy

EDIT: Antique Forest is even more beautiful! OMG! My "mentor" was a mountaineer, dapat nagpaka sporty na din ako and joined!

trip namin ni gf pre 2nd lockdown, drive to marilque look for a spot na walang tao. tapos magyosi, tambay ng kami lang; fresh air and nice view
tapos nung nakalusot papuntang KM90, ganun din stop kung san wala tao. ubos nga lang wet tissue kasi dun nilalagay yung yosi namin unless may trashbin sa area.

I am so EXHAUSTED. I don't know how UF does it na no help since 2020. Hindi masaya ang cooking if you are doing it as a chore and not as a hobby. Mommy ko ka babaeng tao hindi marunong magluto. She NEVER heard the end of it from both sides of the family and her friends. Usually ayaw niya napipintasan siya pero sa cooking, she really doesn't care and never bothered to learn. I told her I am gonna die if I eat restaurant/fast food and canned goods any longer so I am cooking. Please end this pandemic na.

I post about her a lot, she's a very close friend of mine. NBSB very eligible bachelorette, UNTIL she had her first BF at 38 yrs old and he proposed to her 3 mos after. She got married more than a year ago and when the lockdown in March happened their maid was coming in pa lang so until now they have no maid. We barely talked na since 2020 and when we did she told me how hard it was that her day was just chores. Now I understand her.

Tired and a bit dehydrated from doing a deep cleaning of our gas grill outside. The wife wants me to grill burgers and ribs tomorrow.

Yes. If she says she's tired and exhausted then she is tired and exhausted. I can relate to her complaints na nga, only mine is harder because I am taking care of my second Mom (na matigas ulo) and my labradors (very needy) Saka how could a person be bored e it's not easy to do housework, it's a full time job. Saludo ako sa housewives with ZERO maids. My Mom said pa I could move to the US na because I can do things by myself and I told her I do not want to live this way.

Just her husband nga but that does not make her complaints invalid. That's a shock for someone who lived with help all her life tapos biglang zero, add the stress of lockdown pa. I know how she feels now. Doc, until you are in the person's shoes, you won't know how it feels talaga.

In my case, hindi naman mahirap buhay ko if my second Mom is cooperative but she's not. She has perfect mental capacity but I don't know if it's because grade school lang tinapos niya o sadyang matigas lang ulo. I need to watch her swallow medicine, gargle betadine and drink water every 30 mins etc. Saan ka makakita mag take ng temperature, mag glance lang ako ilang seconds e binubuka bibig? Another pinag steam inhilation ko, mapatingin lang ako sa ibang direction tinataaas niya yung towel. Makes me want to pull my hair out. Then there's the 3L of water a day na nahuli ko tinatapon sa bathroom.Sobrang opposite ng Lola ko who follows doctors orders to a T

It's out of respect and I live in my parent's house. Maluwag naman Mom ko pero I think tinatamaan na rin with all the horrible covid news. Initially nga ayaw magpa vaccine but now she changed her mind. My family on my Mom's side takes care of me like I am a child. When I was in the US (late 30s na ko) I can't even go for a walk on my own to Target which is a stone's throw away. I cannot mall din alone. I cannot commute. I cannot drive alone. OMG. Bawal lumabas naka shorts kasi baka makagat ng insect (I have history of anaphylaxis) It has it perks pero nakakasakal. Imagine me in my late 30s everytime we go out of the house parati may prepared snacks for me like I'm in grade school LOL (and that is different Titas) Puro empty nesters na kasi

Ah... Well protected and sheltered (no disrespect).

Samin kasi pag lalabas, di naman papagpaalam kung pwede. Its more of ipapaalam lang. And only go out if its necessary like buying grocery or food or kapag no choice but go to the office to work. Virus is every where pero need na din to adapt and try to move on, carefully. Just my 2 cents.

It's okay. Parang extremes nga sa family namin, kasi sa side ng Dad ko, I make the decisions naman, but the way my LOla shows her love for me, some people could also view as sheltering.

My Mom wasn't bothered before by the virus and would tell me all the time that I am paranoid but I think since the positives or recent deaths are closer like friends and relatives, she worries na when I go out. My second Mom getting fever and sore throat even if she hasn't gone out since March 2020 made it worse pa. I read in one of the threads here na the virus is so nakakahawa na if someone in the neighborhood gets it, the kapitbahay might get it too! OMG! So you can't even go out sa garden or garage na without a mask

    Lethargic.

Appears to me that this is pandemic(fatigue)-related.
