USA is one of the hardest country to immigrate. Canada, Australia and New Zealand etc hindi inaabot ng 10 yrs. Ang US may mga kilala ako 20 yrs nga bago na approve. Wtf.

If you want some conspiracies to go with that..... The India and China branches will remain in operation. Immigrants from there tend to have conservative political views. The Philippine branch is closing and look at your political views? I think I see a pattern.

My wife got her naturalized US citizenship in 4 years after arriving. Her mom followed her here after 7 years. But then, my wife started the petition a little late. My brother in law (plus his wife and kids < 21 yrs old) all got here within 3 years of their mom.

I have cousins that are born and raised in the US. One cousin of mine has a college and masters degree from a University here said iba trato sa kanilang 3 asians sa buong office. She is close to quitting her job.
