O eto pala bad experience kaninang umaga going to airport, I chose "justgrab" it will give you either taxi or car, so nabook ko is taxi pala.

Nasa one way street yung hotel namin and the taxi is on the parallel street ayaw kami ikutan to add nahirapan hanapin hotel namin siguro mahina lang talaga sa direction partida may gps ang grab diba, gusto niya kami lalapit sa kanya.

He called, eh ang lala ng singlish niya ang hirap intindihin. Ginawa ko inabot ko sa hotel receptionist (which is super polite and accommodating sa amin) he just told me, sir just cancel your booking and book another ride or I will book a new ride for you, this driver will give you a problem to add he is not service oriented.

Cancelled the booking, booked a grab car na. Then the taxi came (yung kinancel ko) opened his windows and shouted at us eh hindi ko naman maintindihan then harurot paalis.

My friend who is based there tells me the workers there don't want to do blue collar jobs anymore and a lot of them do it grudgingly.

I noticed that a lot of them are also cold, considering they are in the hospitality business. Lalo na if you compare them to Pinoys working the same job.

Noticed this with flight attendants, hotel staff, and cabbies. Asked if I could have an extra pair of headphones for my 2 year old, this Singaporean FA just flat out said "no" and turned her back. Could've said "sorry but I can't" man lang di ba.

Pero di naman lahat. There was this one well dressed Chinese cabbie who even gave us suggestions for our next stops.

But yeah using Grab is probably a better idea as they will have to care about getting a good rating.

May nakuha kayong BMW/Audi/Merc sa Grab? Ordinary lang daw mga yan sa Grab doon.
