He has been to Davao twice in his entire life. Lived in the US for 50 years. Not a Filipino Citizen. Never stayed in the country more than 1 month. And there he goes campaigning for Duterte as if he knows what is happening in the Philippines. I wonder how he would feel if I start campaigning for Trump on FB.

His basis for wanting Duterte is because Davao has improved in 30 yrs from the last time he came to visit. DUH.

I read somewhere that you cannot change someones opinion, even if the facts are in front of them, its just a matter of ego. They still believe theyre right, so.....good luck

He can make all the noise he wants. But, he can't force anyone to vote the way he wants them to.

I mean, my kin here also have varying political stances. Some are Democrat, others are Republican. Still others want a third option. But, we don't let politics get in the way of family. I certainly wouldn't badmouth them for having the views they have. They can vote whatever they want. At the end of the day, we're still together as family and kin.

Your call since I'm just an outsider looking in. But, in my case, we try to get along with anyone who marries into the family, including distant in-laws who come from different backgrounds than us....and there have been a number. We maintained good relations even with those who divorced out of the family.

Pissed with my Uncle na dutertard (and btw he really does come from a clinically whacko family) He hasn't lived in Manila for 50 yrs and he has the nerve to bash Roxas and flood FB with Duterte posts.

He is not even a Filipino citizen. Good lord! He has no right to an opinion. He hasn't even stayed over a month in PH all those 50 yrs. Kundi lang dahil sa kapatid ng Mommy ko asawa niya e pinaringgan ko na siya sa facebook!

I'm not anti duterte. I NEVER made a post on FB regarding the candidate I am voting for. I NEVER joined political discussions at work.

I just want to voice out how I feel about my Uncle somewhere. Here I am anonymous. Dahil pigil na pigil na talaga ko. I have many dutertards on my FB but at least they live in the Philippines. My Uncle doesn't even live here so that really pisses me off more.

And it is true that a degree and honors doesn't necessarily mean a peirson is intelligent. Book smart lang.

His children doesn't even know how to speak Filipino then he goes posting about making the right choice and change for the Philippines? He is full of BS. His wife (my Mom's sister) comes home yearly and wants to move back here. He does not. He rarely went to Manila in 50 yrs tapos feeling nationalistic siya?

I don't hate him. He stays at our home when he's on vacation. Okay naman makisama. It's really the FB posts that got me irritated with him. What's surprising is he's a very quiet nerdy type of guy but goes all out on FB posting pro duterte links and memes. hahaha.
