Sobrang mahal.
What I do is Buy once a year when I go out of the country. Like now bought 10 pairs of shoes. I'll used it for a year then bili again next year. Ngayon majority nabili ko are sketchers. It's buy 1 50% off second shoes. And that's 20% off pa on top of that promo. So for around $70-$80 2 pairs na yun.
I remember buying our kids a pair each of Sketchers - hindi sinuot - kaya sayang lang... Hayyyzzzzz....
Yes,- mura nga riyan,- so shop on every opportunity....

Relieved. I wanted to buy from Amazon a Samsung 55 curved TV ($1,200) to be shipped via Atlas Forwarder ($500), total cost of around Php79,000. I just found out the same model is available at Remal Sales, a local online store, for Php71,000.
Asar but relieved..... What were these guys (fellow motorists) thinking :
SLEX Northbound this morning: I was driving in the rightmost lane (3rd lane) doing 100KHP (actually a little bit faster than that...). There was a car in the middle lane that was less than 2 car lengths ahead doing about 90KPH, and so I was in a motion to overtake it... A silver Isuzu Crosswind with obvious damage on his right side, was on the passing lane (1st lane) and doing probably 120KPH (faster than me), suddenly swerved to the middle lane at an angle that appeared to me as if,- it will hit me on the side. It took me by surprise and so I was not able to blast my horn, but I braked hard (tyres screeched). The Crosswind suddenly swayed left and right a couple of times and returned to the passing lane.... After passing the car in the middle lane,- I noticed that the passing line was wide open and so I was wondering why the Crosswind did that move? It stayed on that lane ahead of his pack until I exited SLEX.... Whew! That was close!
Driving along the East Service Road. Heavy traffic in the opposite direction. The motorbikes are already on our lane and overtaking. Suddenly a motorbike moved to make a second like of counterflowing motorbikes. He got a blast from me and stopped (but still on the second line of counterflow),- I did that because there was a motorbike on my right side that was overtaking me... Oh wow!
I was driving our GS,- so the Crosswind should have noticed me (maybe I was in his blind side); and the motorbike doing a second line counterflow should have realized that I could not make any further way/adjustment for him.. - but he obviously just wanted it his way,- with his coup-pal mind....

Correct. 10 pairs and I think I'll be buying more the next two days. Kaya pag on the way na Lang sa pupuntahan saka dumadaan. But bought majority of my stash (clothes, pants, shirts, , shoes, underwears, socks and everything I can get my hands on) was booth in NJ. Tax free on clothes and shoes doon. Just have to pay additional check in Baggage from east to west coast.
Hinde mo talaga mapapansin napadami na nabili. Actually nalaman ko lang 10 pairs na nabili when I'm starting to pack na. There's two pairs na nakalimutan ko nabili ko pala nun 1st day. [emoji16]
Shopping!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember traveling with wifey and mother-in-law from our few days stay in CA to NJ... Each of us with only one checked-in baggage (so total of 3 only), meeting the weight for domestic travel with a lot of room(weight) to spare... Going back,- 2 checked-in baggages each kami (total of 6) and it took wifey and me almost the whole night to figure out what item goes where to meet the 50lb limit for each...
It was a good thing that our international flight was recognized at EWR (with stopover at DTW) and so we did not pay any for the domestic "excess baggage" (isa lang kasi ang allowed per passenger pag domestic).... Whew!!!

What's good this time around, we didn't used credit card much. [emoji106]🏼 probably 5-10% lang, we really planned of not using CC unless for emergency. Debit card and cash lang. what I did is bought a prepaid visa card sa Walmart then load Xxxxx amount. Then pag used up na load again. [emoji23] no more surprises this time! [emoji23]
Bro.,- you could have gotten away with the payment for the excess baggages (domestic limit of 1 checked-in baggage only),- if you went multicity. I think you can do that with United and Delta...
In one of our trips to the East Coast,- we took Delta MNL-NRT-SFO (stayed there for a few days)-MSP-EWR(stayed in the area for a few days)-EWR-DTW-NRT-MNL
So, checked-in baggages at EWR on our return flight were considered international.

Tired ...... "Wasted 20minutes in standstill traffic at 6:40AM today...."
The motorcyles of the opposite lane counterflowed, because theirs was heavy traffic.
They were not contented with just one or two or three counterflowing lines. They occupied the opposite (our) lane and blocked the intersection with a side-road for 20 minutes...
Our lane? No traffic after passing the intersection. However, we have to navigate vs 2 or 3 counterflowing motorcycle lines, and motorcycles in our lane, passing us both left and right.... Deym!
