    Taxi companies won't bother with Honda rin, mas mahal pyesa eh. Maarte pa sa fluids, kailangan genuine Honda. Bumibigay after a while pag generic PS fluid o coolant lagay mo.

    This a more valid point. Taxi rides need to be cheaper to maintain.

    The moment na naka-for hire ang car, mawawala na warranty.
    For GRAB, baka 1 year lang matapos nila yung 100k kms

    So kahit anong fluid or coolant, pwede na.

    But it all boils down to initial cost of the vehicle.

    City 1.5 E MT PHP 828,000.00
    Vios 1.3 Base MT PHP 659,000

    Kung 1.5k/day ang boundary, halos 4 months bago kitahin ng operator yung PHP 169,000 na difference

    Nagpapaka feeling premium yung Honda dito sa atin eh kung tutuusin di naman sila premium over any other Japanese brand. It's all marketing BS.

    Yup... Local marketing which is actually a good move by Honda Ph.

    Toyota could have done the same pero mas important sa kanila and numbers...

    Remember the Daewoo Racer na may specific "taxi model"

    yeah honda's just being smart to take advantage of pinoys being too image-conscious

    eh ano naman kung ginagawang taxi yung car brand mo? there's just no logical connection there

    Meron agreement before honda Phil with LTFRB that hinde pwede kumuha ng franchise pag honda cars. Pero natapos na yan agreement nun '90s pa.

    Image is everything.

    But, it won't work on luxury cars. A BMW Taxi will always be a BMW. It will not be tarnished.

    Masyado nagpapaka premium Honda dito. There are other countries where Hondas are used as taxis. Sa US nga before, marami taxis na Accord.
