    wifey recently bought spa vouchers--sulit

laking tipid kung kailangan mo talaga yung item. . .but if you bought it on impulse because of the discounted price, dagdag gastos ang lagay nun hehhe

My office mate got a voucher for an Anvaya day trip for him and his kids, which seems like a good deal if you want to see the place. You'll go there as a guest of a member set up by a travel agency from how i understand it. Problem is the agency had to cancel it before my office mate could go as there were Anvaya members who complained and apparently it was because some of the people who went... "were not of their kind" (your guess is as good as mine). :D Funny thing is i was already half expecting something like that to happen the moment i was told about that promo.

Just choose what you get... we got California Berry vouchers.

the whole point of those is to make you spend while making you think nakatipid ka

those promos introduce you to products and services which you would otherwise not know about and wouldnt be spending on in the first place

but now you know thanks to those promos, you would spend on them coz sayang ang discount

so if you're spending more on stuff which you otherwise wouldnt have spent on, ano exactly ang natipid mo?

Merong isang kwento dyan sa pinoymoneytalk. 50% discount sa isang hotel sa ilocos. So akala nya nakatipid sya.

Parang CC promos. When im purchasing something at the grocery or at the mall, there are times the cashier will tell me "ser dagdagan nyo pa ng kaunti para maka P 2,000 ka and maka-avail ka ng xxx promo"... I would just decline since that would entail me notching up another P 100 to P 200 worth of items so i can get something free (worth P 100 or less). :D

If the promo item you see covers something that you really buy, then why not?

malabo malugi yan. syempre nag compute muna yan bago magpa promo.

can't assume na same number of customers pag full price

kesa no promo/full price konte lang walk-in customer

a lot of businesses would choose volume

    --

    btw, promo vouchers = advertising

instead of spending money on ads, businesses pay to join those promo vouchers to attract customers

hoping 1st time customers become repeat customers

So its really to fill in on space for additional sales volume. Just like the budget carriers... seat promos to fill in the projected empty seats of its flights, especially on the early flights, and cheaper terminals.

not all businesses can afford to advertise

those promo vouchers serve as advertising

if i was talking from the side of the promo voucher, my selling point would be your business would get a lot of exposure if you joined a promo voucher. thousands of people would see your promo and some might avail of it. they might become your suki

This is how it works at least with ensogo since a good friend of mine joined them couple of months ago.
