I have a friend who worked in Saudi for a year and he's in the Philippines having his annual vacation. Na realize nya na ayaw na nyang bumalik sa Saudi to work and he just sent his resignation through email sa employer nya kasi hindi nmn fair ang treatment ng employer nya within the company.
As expected, the employer does not expect this from him at wala nmn silang magawa para pabalikin sya.

This time, yung employment agency nya is harassing sya at tinatakot sya na bibigyan daw sya ng hold departure order para nde na sya makapag abroad ulit.

Let it be known na wala syang iniwan na utang sa Saudi at ang employment contract nya is unlimited. So nde specified kung 2 , 3 yrs etc.

Ang question ko. May power ba yung employment agency na bigyan sya ng hold deparure order?

Sa opinion ko kasi ay wala dahil wala nmn syang ginawang criminal record sa philippines at kelangan may court order or warrant of arrest para magkaroon sya ng hold departure order.
