I recently had some infestation and i had to pay a hefty sum to apply some traps in the house. Its the easiest way of killing the colony. Applying kerosene or oil is just a stop gap measure. To really be effective, you must kill the queen.

It could the cause for anay din pala
Haha... nope. I just happen to live in an area that's old, with old wooden houses and large trees.

Trees with large roots can displace the foundation, pavement, or walls as they grow in size. If your remove trees, gagalaw din yung pinagtanggalan. We recently removed some bamboo trees in the back of the house and the pavement next to the plant box sunk so we had to dig up and reconcrete and re-lay the Vigan tiles. Also had to redo a post of the gate as it was starting to move when the gate would be opened.

If your gate is misaligned, check the hinges as well as these can be worn out by the weight of the gate over time.

After the removal of the termite infested part, Solignum was sprayed sa mga natirang termite-free woodwork.
Pero ngayon the wifey contracted a local termite company with a tag price of 25k without giving me a heads up.
Please guide me kung paano ko masusulit at maging reliable ang termite control operation na gagawin. Btw, wala ng anay na nakikita sa ngayon at meron pala akong deepwell about 10feet away from one of my concrete wall.

It's strange as to why with in 2 months lang eh meron ng anay agad after ng service ng pestcontrol. Something is wrong with your pestcontrol provider.

The best pest controller eh pati yung ipis at daga matatangal din nila.

^ Paano ba nakakatawid ang mga anay sa concrete? Sa amin kasi bagong gawa lang (one year) pero lumabas yung mga anay sa wall outlet. Strange.

Wall outlet ang tawiran. Mapecon did a perimeter application. Pati kapit bahay namin binungkal nila to apply thier chemicals.

Then all outlets were treated. All baseboards and cornice were also treated. Gardens too. Pet friendly ang chemicals nila. Iirc. But when i bought a beagle lahat inaamoy at dinidillaan or kinakain. OT na hehe.

Mga 20+ din iirc for an area of about 500sqm

panong linta? baka slug lang yan.

yung linta parang bulateng itim, may segments yung katawan at maiksi (depende).

yung slug na itim makinis yung dorsal area at may parang antennae (dun nakakabit yung mga mata). yung under part niya light to white color.

yun nga lang, yung slug naninira ng leafy plants.

From your description, it's the slug as they come out from the bermuda grass pero minsan gumagapang sa pader and they only come out at night. Thus yung ilang plants nagkamatay na rin as in nag dry ang mga leafs.

Using kerosene or diesel may not be a right solution to get out of termites. Consult the best termite control specialists who will provide you best solutions and help you providing precautions to avoid termites come back in future. Also, termite control specialists will check all the inner and outer surroundings for termites to get inspection and use the remedies according to the species of termites found.

Bait is proven way more effective. Kill the queen/s & the colony/ies. Extermination only kills the local pawns.
Look for Exterra or Sentricon Bait System Contractors.

For new construction, the most effective infestation prevention system is RETRICULATION, a laid network of subfloor perforated piping. This allows periodic termicide application that can cover the entire footprint of the structure.

Trav bai, just curious any idea how much this retriculation?
Does engineer or architect offer this as part of their design? Or you have to ask for it?
