anyways, can we come up with some laws na, if given a chance, gusto natin i-propose? maybe some lawmakers or advisers ng lawmakers or kalaro sa golf ng mga lawmakers lurking and consider them.

anything for the betterment of our country. pwedeng regarding education, transportation, communication, toursim - anything.

like -

1. sana before na i-renew driver's license, especially the PUV drivers, may practical exam uli para malaman kung dapat ba mag-undergo uli ng seminar or refresher course.

2. sana may mga LTO investigators in plain clothes na mag-a-assess/mag-o-observe ng driving skills ng mga bus drivers, and para ma-check na rin condition ng mga buses (like, aircon buses na parang wala naman aircon, pero passengers paying the fare for aircon buses, or umuulan sa loob ng bus kahit na umaaraw sa labas, etc.

3. display the body number and plate number, as well as the names of the driver and conductor sa loob ng bus para madali i-identify kung irereport.

4. bawal muna magbenta ng mga luxury cars, although we know na maraming can-afford. (para naman lumuwag-luwag sa EDSA.)

actually nung panahon ni macoy nung meron oil crisis nung 70s pinagbawal nya yang mga gas-guzzler na mga sasakyan.

IMHO,

here in the Phils, we have good laws crafted by our elected legislators. the problem is, ENFORCEMENT.

no amount of laws will make the roads wider and safer if the ones who are supposed to enforce them are nowhere to be found.

but wait a sec, you can't totally blame them either. because some of those who crafted the laws (especially their brats) are the ones who violate them.

most common harassments:
1. di mo yata ako kilala bata ah?
2. boy, mo yatang yung boss mo magsauli ng license ko.
3. kilala ako ni (name of a politiko) pare
4. sasabihin ko ito sa tatay ko, tiyak, sisante ka

Lahat ng bus and jeepney should have a big "How am I driving" sticker sa bumper with a phone number. If certain amount of complaint has been made towards that license plate number (making sure it's 1 complaint per person only), blacklist na ang license pagdating sa renewal date or big hefty fine.

Ang talagang problema ng Maynila ay over-crowding. Sa sobrang dami ng tao nakasiksik sa isang siyudad, ito ang expected. Ang solution is to improve infastructure to cities beyond Manila - create a 2nd and 3rd Manila, para malipat ang mga tao dito. Ito rin ang ginagawa ng ibang bansa tulad ng China.

Isang simpleng law na makabubuti sa lahat:

Bawal ang Bus sa White Lanes sa EDSA. :D

- di na sila biglang pasok-labas sa lanes pag malapit na ang underpass-overpass.

- di na sila mag-loloading-unloading sa gitna... papatayin sila ng mga ibang bus drivers. :D


Puedeng Citizen's Arrest by video. P500- P1000 peso bonus sa private citizen na nakahuli sa lawbreaker. Inline na ito sa no license confiscation... i-co-confiscate nalang ang registration pagdating ng renewal. :D

- incentive for us to look for lawbreakers.
- saves the LTO and MMDA some of the money they would need to buy video cams.
- no cost option for the government. Registrant of vehicle WILL pay full fine, plus extra.
