I had the same ailment. HIV (Hair Is Vanishing), tapos naging AIDS (Anit Is Definitely Showing). At first I tried to fight it with all sorts of treatments from Aloe Vera sap to Minoxidil and even rubbing my fingernails together when just sitting around (watching TV or in waiting areas). What I found out:

1. Propecia is hereditary. I saw this from both my mother's and father's side, so I decided to embrace it and went for full buzz cut.
2. You could try a toupee. Be warned that those who claim "No one can tell" are the manufacturer, the ad agency and the people who love you.
3. Some people try the comb-over. Don't do it. It only looks desperate.
4. Only one thing can stop falling hair. The floor.

If you go for the buzz cut or head shave, remember you're in good company: Michael Jordan, Bruce Willis, George St. Pierre, Shaq, etc.
