Correct, you can not shoot somebody for "trespassing" or even for robbery. You can only shoot the individual in "self defense" or in the defense of somebody in your household. So if you do shoot the individual, siguraduhin mo lang na "armed" and dapat ang scenario is meron "imminent threat" to your life or sa mga kasamahan niyo - hindi yung "umaakyat sa pader" or naglalabas ng television set or refrigerator - dapat meron hawak na weapon and nakaharap sa iyo. Tapos get a good lawyer.

What you should do in these situations - Lock the doors, gather everybody to a safe room, call the cops. Keep watch on the doors (better if you have a gun or any other weapon to protect yourself). and wait for help to arrive.

Di lang get a gun, make sure you know how to use it tapos mag-drill kayo every so often ano gagawin. Kami, mga once a month practice: patay ilaw, get gun, tapos kasama si misis, get kid and go to safest room in the house (malapit lang sa mga bedroom namin). Tsaka always keep celfone on your person, pinaka-best weapon yun, tawag agad pulis (kahit di sila dumating, at least may proof you na tumawag ka ng saklolo). Wala ako dog kasi di me mahilig.

OK talaga yung may practice, kahit wala ilaw, I know how & where to get my gun. Also, always be on good terms with your neighborhood police/tanod (bigyan mo ng litson manok, sir oldblue ).
