guam is really an island na parang pinas ang dating. may mga nice resorts, malls, etc. nothing special in there.

for pleasure. kelangan ko gamitin US Visa ko eh. and libre na yung biyahe ko dahil sa air miles

may mabibilhan ba na car stuff jan like gauges, turbo timers, etc

Guam is a tropical paradise, given its location, climate, and scenic beauty! It is home to elegant world class hotels, Asian PGA golf resorts, and beautiful beaches. Situated on a strip of white sand beaches known as Tumon Bay, fine business hotels and family accommodations include the Guam Hilton Hotel, Westin Resort Guam, Hyatt Regency Guam, Hotel Okura, Hotel Nikko Guam, Outrigger Hotel and the Ladera Tower - Aston International.

Guam is a melting pot of Chamorro, Micronesian, American, and Asian cultures. Petroglyph (Cave Paintings) and Latte Stones (pillars which supported ancient structures and houses) provide insight into the lives of the Chamorro people in their earliest times. Spanish ruins and World War II memorials are reminders of more recent history.

Guam is also home to a haven of a fantastic diversity of restaurants with worldwide cuisines as Niji, Kurumaya, Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe, Friday's, Capricciosa, Creations, Joinus, Sam Choy's, Tony Roma Ribs and Outback Steakhouse.

The island's duty-free status means that name brand merchandise are often less expensive than its country of origin. The variety of retail shops on Guam can satisfy any shopper - from Tiffany's, Chanel, to K-Mart. In addition to outlet shops and malls, the island also offers shoppers with the I Sengsong Chamorro Village, a venue to purchase local handicrafts.

There are five galleon shipwrecks below the waters around Guam. The Neustra Senora del Pilar is purported to be one of the 10 richest wrecks in the world. There are scuba experiences for the uninitiated and diving adventures to World War II shipwrecks for those with advance skills. Tokai Maru and SMS Comoran, Guam's favorite twin wreck dives provide a unique juxtaposition of World Wars I and II. Actually touching underwater, two ships from two different wars lie at Pier 1 in Apra Harbor. The SMS Cormoran is a 95-metre 320-foot auxiliary cruiser, built in China and part of the Russian fleet. Taken by Germany, it was put into service in WWI. Purposely blown up to avoid capture, it was the first ship sunk by the U.S. entering WWI in 1917. Today, the Cormoran lies on its starboard side between 21-36 metres / 70-120 feet with spacious holds and meandering passageways. Home to clouds of fish and morays, it provides an exciting exploration of a rare WWI artifact.

The Tokai Maru, a 150-metre / 500-foot 8,300-ton Japanese passenger-cargo ship, lies just to the side of the Cormoran, beginning in about 15 metres /50 feet of water. Sunk by a torpedo from the submarine Flying Fish in WWII, lying on its port side is clean of overgrowth and easy to explore in a single dive. Of special interest are the marble baths near the bridge.

The Kitsugawa Maru a 1,900-ton freighter also sunk in 1944 was hit by the submarine Seahorse, but managed to sail to Apra Harbor before it was hit by Dauntless dive bombers. It rests permanently in about 160 feet of water.

Jet skiing, trips to watch wild pods of spinner dolphins, fishing and trawling , river cruises, ocean dinner cruises, underwater observatories, ocean parasailing, helitours, ecotours, and snorkling are normal water activities. There are also amusement Parks as Underwater World, Stephen Spielberg's GameWorld, Tarza and Onward's Water Parks. There are more than 1200 species of fish in Micronesia and Guam.
