re: #8 - maybe i'm just weird, but i can't bring myself to wear brown shoes with gray. it just doesn't look right to me. i only wear brown shoes with my suits/dress pants that are some variation of brown (or khaki - although i seldom wear khaki), or jeans.

re: #9 - i hate cuffs, period. even if the pants are pleated.
