Yup... Pluto is located in that asteroid belt just outside of Neptune.

It was either Pluto will be retained along with 2 more newly discovered dwarf planets or it will be axed from the major planets list.

Scientist have also updated the classification for the major planets in which its axis around the sun should never intersect with another major planet (like what the 8 classic planets do right now).

Technology to explore other planets is still in its infancy stage. That's why we have the International Space Station to continually research on the this.

The USA is now planning for a manned Mars mission possibly in 2025. Cost? Just $1 trillion.

You also have to consider the distance... a manned mission to Mars using current technology will take around 2-3 years.
