    It's still there operating. The new site isn't ready for moving in yet.

    Puregold benefits from the rumored technical smuggling in customs. So sad to hear that Cherry Shaw is closing, bata pa ako dyan na kami naggrocery. Relatively recent pa yung upgrade nila to barcode tech, dati mano-mano cash register pa sila.

    Proven combination na iyan dito sa SouthMM,- with Shopwise in Santana Grove in Sucat and South Supermarket in WestGate in Alabang....

    nakow lalong magtrapik pag ginawang S&R yun cherry-shaw. major bottle neck area na yun. pero too much groceries na nga sa area. starting from kalanetong. hypermart(in front of JRU) > puregold > super8 > cherry. may mercury drug pa an may mini store din sa loob, yung malapit sa cherry.

    akala ko sarado na. napadaan ako kanina, my first time, bought some cakes from sonia. yung design ng cherry shaw parang sa cherry congressional. sa gitna yung establishment yung palibot nya ample free parking space.

    ang dami palang supermarkets duon sa hilera, groc8, puregold, sa kabilang side my sm hypermart pa.

    If you want old-school, si Hi-Top wala pa rin barcoding. Hirap nga mag reconcile ng purchased items on the OR.

    *Holdencaulfield, i remember also the Christmas display of COD back then. Too bad my kids wont see that.
