it appears that that large brass thing at the end of the wiring, has to screw into the engine.
you have to pass that long wiring to the engine thru the engine bay's firewall, and screw the brass thingee to the engine's appropriate temp sensor hole.
what i do not know, is how screwing out the engine's original sensor and replacing it with your brass thingee, will affect the car's computer.

Ang alam ko lang yung sa ilalim ng manibela and yung sa engine na fuse box yung sa pinakagilid.

Pero meron mahilig magbutingting dito si 12dvc and si vodka. SAna mabasa nyo ito.

kaya napapaisip ako sa obd2 kasi wala ng wiring kasi bluetooth bluetooth na lang. Kaso hindi stationary dahil hindi naman iiwanan smartphone sa kotse.

The brass thing appears to be a thermoswitch/sensor. Years ago, nagmodify pa ng radiator para makapagmount ng ganyan sa old old car ko when we decided to use an electric fan rather than clutch driven fan.

dati rati kasi, no big deal yan.
radiators were metal,
and because the temp sensor controls only one thing: the temperature gauge needle.

Same case with me bro., years ago. But this is with an auxiliary fan to supplement the clutch fan.

So I opted for a manual switch to turn the fan on or off depending on the temp gauge reading...

Hey, it might be worth a lot more now. I still have these from a long time ago. I know the USS Voyager and the original ROTJ Millennium Falcon are worth some money. The decals aren't any good now. But, there are always 3rd-party ones.
