Ano ba difference ng dvd sa blu ray? I think he will like the DVD kasi last night I asked him if he has seen this film and he said no. Tapos later on when I asked him if he needs to give him the report na he said no give me ("movie title") hahaha.

files/movies in blue ray format are "burned/ripped" in higher frames, hence, files are bigger. resolution is more clear. suitable for HD TVs.
ordinary DVD players cannot play the BR format, but BR players can play the DVD format.

although ako personally, i do not want my staff to give me gifts... baka isipin porke binigyan ako ng this or that, merong favor na kapalit sa work. at the same time, di rin naman ako nagbibigay ng gifts sa boss ko dahil baka sabihin humihingi ako ng favor and ma label ako na sipsip. alam nyo naman how office politics goes.

kung may boss - subordinate relationship, a simple happy birthday greeting will be sufficient, imho.

i don't accept gifts from my subordinates, nor give gift to my boss (liela de lima or benjamin caguioa can attest to that).

I suggest getting him something na mailalagay nya sa office/table nya like perpetual motion toys (pendulum etc)/desk sculptures. It is not too personal that people might mis-interpret pero its not too 'business' for him to put aside.
