    in my previous car,
the mag-ina tried to open my rear door.
"ay sori po! akala namin, taxi!"

    in a moment of greed,
i almost said, "san po kayo? wala akong metro, nguni at mapag-uusapan natin ang presyo."

Haha why would they assume your car is a taxi? Is it white, & does it have something written on the outside of the door? Hehe

    it was a nissan sentra.
"jamaica green". sort of dark blue-green. very private.
ewan ko nga kung bakit napagkamalan.
but i was waiting for my relative, parked at the curb not far from several waiting taxis.

Bakit naman mamamatay ang wifi ng laptop? Someone (obviously) has turned it off, probably inadvertently and that VP might have not realized it..

    of course!
would we have called it "formerly matalino",
if it were not matalino before?

sometimes, some of the great mysteries in life have an obvious explanation.
i myself, i find once in a while, that my body (hands, fingers) did something that i did not mean to do, nor do i remember doing it...
it's like the car's instrument cluster. it looks confusing at times because we are not familiar with it because it was not designed during our birthyear.
    heh heh.

    just last night,
i asked my son to set me up for our zoom meeting. (yes! hindi ako marunong!)
    "dad, where's your zoom icon?"
in retrospect, i think i mistakenly removed it.
fortuntely, my son is a computer whiz.

    luma na yang cheating position.
    "sign language" na ngayon.
lookit the position of the writing instrument.

we warn the students before the exam,
"what makes you think your classmate knows the correct answer?"
what enlightened teachers do nowadays, is to have more than one version of the exam. same questions, but different numbering order.
it is easy to do now, because of computers.

It was easy to defeat copying among students in exams if you give them problem sets not multiple choice exams. I remembered before some teachers in UP Diliman for Physics and Engineering subjects only give out 3 to 4 problem sets. You solve completely 1 or 2 sets, then you pass.

It is quite obvious that you underestimate/d the resourcefulness of your students then and now...😉

Again, baka hindi dating matalino; baka "maabilidad" at "may koneksyon"...🤔

today's kids are the gadget kings.

i can do what a colleague sometimes does,
ask questions from the latest publications.
