nararanasan ko na yan friday the 13th, ang sakit sobra ng katawan ko at masyadong pagod!
I had an operation on a Friday the 13th which turns out to be cancer.
It's been the 5th anniversary last Friday on the same date and day. 5 year survival na rin.
nothing went bad for me. actually i was even lucky enough to get a bus trip to panggasinan![]()
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
nope.... lahat ng 13th swerte sa akin, hehehehe kaya nga evs_13!!!!
Nope. It was an uneventful day for me. By the way it was also my sister's birthday that day February 13. So nakalibre pa ako ng kain sa Circles nyahahaha...
Yes I read if one has cancer one has to be happy to fight it effectively...
13th of March, a Friday. nabangga yung van that took us to the venue of our medical mission. we were negotiating the national highway and out of the blue, i heard a thud and our driver pulled over. i saw lots of men going to our van, just as when the driver opened his door, i instructed the male passengers to lock their doors including the driver, with a warning that no one should go out. almost everyone froze, in split second i decided that i shall go out. brought my camera, rushed to the pedicab driver. i was alone in the middle of the mob...they never hurt me except that they were too rowdy...i checked the pedicab driver...he seemed ok...except that he was pale, young, and lanky. he got lacerated wound on his left knee...no broken bone. i took some photos and got the angles that may help us.
i recalled i have a friend in that place, i asked the police if he knows my friend...just across from where we were was his store...i called him for help. we brought the pedicab driver to the nearest hospital, i insisted that he be checked under xray, but the resident physician said, no need. then went to the police station. the owner of the pedicab arrived. the investigator declared that the pedicab driver was at fault. both vehicles sustained damage.
but just the same we extended help to the pedicab driver, an amount we believed that could help him tide over to the next chance that he could drive. the pedicab owner demanded that she shall also be compensated in an amount that according to her we could afford. we gave her the money, but she wanted that we double the amount. i told her that that's the only amount we can afford to give away...but her agent insisted. so i said if you won't get the money and still you think that you were aggrieved then we will welcome the case that you may file against us. she got the money.
we got the dispositive report cum blotter extract, specifically declaring that the case was closed by amicable settlement ascribing no fault to our driver.
we had lechon for dinner, everything was meat, so i broke my 40 day meat abstention on friday the 13th...![]()
The only bad thing that happened to me last Friday the 13th (yesterday) was unintentionally cutting loose a loud fart (at a mall food court) because I was laughing so hard at a dirty joke.
So, my answer is nope.

So far I've never had an unfortunate encounter with a Friday the 13th.
I'll just quote Ted Failon on this: " It's just a day and it will lapse."![]()
nung biyernes-13(mar 13, 2009) nasa barangay ako ngpablotter, para makausap ko ng maayos mga magulang ng mga batang sumunog ng temporary gate ko!(under renovation kasi ako)
Friday March 13, 2009. My friends and I decided to get out of the office to have a cup of coffee. That cup of coffee led to another ... and the small talk led to a lengthy one.
When I went back to my car, there was a notice of parking violation ... for exceeding the parking limit of 2 hours. The fee written on the note was £50 / P3.5k.
But that wasn't bad luck. That was the result of my stupidity.
The last fee I paid for the same violation (though in a different city) was £120 / P8.4k. And it happened on a Saturday ... So, in a way swerte pa ako kahapon.
Pero nabawasan nang husto ang pang-kape ko (at meryenda).![]()
i remember an episode of the old Ripley's Believe It Or Not(hosted by Jack Palance), the topic was the fear of the number 13. Apparently the original American flag had 13 stars and 13 stripes, which i think represented the original 13 states that formed it B)
