The problem is, they dont care what is going to happen tomorrow.

Which is why, me, as a member of the Marine Ecosystems Council Volunteer group, and all the other Marine environmentalist groups, try to educate people living near the sea about caring about sea and all facts about it being their source of livelihood. It's hard because we talk science, they talk about poverty, traditional ways, etc etc.
This country is so beautiful but very few know about it and actually appreciate it.

I think the problem with the video is abundant supply of fish and low demand. According to the news video, the Asian carp ate all the marine food available and other marine species are starting to die.
I think you guys better watch the video first before giving some assumptions. Those flying fish aren't just "flying fish", they're flying asian carp.

There are 7 species of asian carp and the SILVER CARP is the only Carp that can leap 8 to 10 feet on the air and can grow up to 18kg (40lbs). None of those 7 Carp been recorded as a Predatory or territorial fish. Carp mainly diet is weeds sometimes mud. Somehow you have mistaken the carp into the voracious Asian Cat fish that can grow up to 75 lbs that they ate everything around theme, including thier kind.

Sir, I dit not say they were voracious nor eat their own kind. I said "abundant supply of fish and low demand. According to the news video, the Asian carp ate all the marine food available and other marine species are starting to die."
I said marine food available meaning those you specified like weeds.
I was only quoting the ABC news telecast over Yahoo. See link.
Anyway, thanks for the additional info you gave us.
