Saan magandang bumili ng sandbags? Hindi pa ako nakakakita pero does it come in a bag that's durable enough when exposed to the elements 24/7?
May nakikita ako sa Youtube na water-activated sandbags and I think may mga binebenta sa Shopee/Lazada. Has anyone tried that?
And how effective are sandbags against a waist-high flooded street really? I just want to keep flood water from entering our front door the next time Ulysses-level rains come.
you can get/order sa local hardwares bro
sa amin di nauubusan, lagi may stock e
pero tignan mo rin kung may paglalagyan ka, madali din kasi magroute ang water if harangan mo front door. so next low lying area sa bahay mo derecho nyan. but i guess it can buy you time maitaas lahat importanteng stuff sa taas.

the remedyo in marikina is to buy back all the lote na binabaha and relocate sa mataas na part ng cainta and antipolo.
I need bezos money to do this.
Dami kaya sa wild sumisira ng puno just to have a chance if may agar.
imagine just to have a chance eh madami ka sisirain.
^ Good idea actually. Re-align with the Burnham plan.
Yung Provident Village shouldn't even be residential land according to the plan. They were suggesting docks or industrial ata with everything built to withstand massive floods.
Miriam College, Tumana, LGV should have been mangroves as additional buffers to prevent flooding. etc. etc.
But grabe laking scam nung Provident Village talaga. I believe it was even sold by the original developer as a high-end residential area.
I know 4 people who live in Provident in the 90s, bahain na talaga. Naalala ko may parang dam pa nga that the village built. On the bigger side nga mga bahay that time, ewan ko lang ngayon. Pero dapat talaga walang village in that areaI wonder magkano price per square meter sa Provident and who is the developer

That's the problem with our country, walang planning, or kung meron man hindi nasusunod

Grabe putik-putik yung bata nung nakita. Ang hirap tingnan. Tapos yung father and isa pang anak hindi pa makita.

He should, he's the one I recall wishing for more typhoons up north to fill up the dams.
