I eat with just a fork and a knife all the time. I can eat rice using a fork. Spoon for soup only. But this is the first time I heard that such eating practice has anything to do with "manners". I have invited several Chinese and Japanese guests from the office to eat out here in Manila, and they can't eat with a spoon and fork, you have to give them chopsticks. So this issue is simply just "preference" on what eating utensils you are comfortable using. If you don't want people eating with a spoon and fork to be labeled as "baboy", you should also not label people who prefer eating with just a fork as "sosyal". Again, these are just eating utensils.
I have never seen somebody eat with a spoon and a fork at the same time.hindi naman kaya literal na nakita ng mga taga-Canada yan. yun bata sabay sinubo fork and spoon? kung ako man mapapa 2nd look

frenchies. hehe.... tho kung nagkakamay sya at nakataas isang paa ala john puruntong while eating a dog, I'd prolly understand.sorry sa mga ifugao at mga tambay sa kanto in advance.
I wonder what will they do to a mainland chinese who eats slurping, spitting, talking with their mouth full etc..etc.. hows that French?
Hehe matatakot sila kasi usually feeling nila marunong mag martial arts ang orientals hehe.
Kaya pala weird tingin mga puti dun nung nag-kamay me sa Tony Roma's. Ehehe. Buti di me pinapunta sa table facing the wall...
But then again, that was in Richmond, and no one ever messes with Asians in Richmond.![]()

Haha! OT na po pero naalala ko yung nakausap ko taga-New Zealand sa NAIA baggage carousel, 3 beses nya me tinanong:
NZ: Suh, yeeuh shpike awhny awyngwysh?
Di pa yun ngongo ha, sige nga say it out loud kung maintindihan nyo....
baka maapektuhan ang mga nag apply sa Canadian embassy ,
dahil sa pag protesta nila ,gumanti lang ba ang mga taga Embassy..
I tried eating with only one utensil (fork), its disgusting. I tried eating with one utensil(spoon), its disgusting. I saw a few old foreigners eat with one utensil(spoon) they eat like pig.... ang daming pagkains natatapon... montik pa ako matapunan.
But I never made any move to expel them from the Philippines for eating not the Filipino way.
paano pa kaya kung kumain ng "betamax" at balut ang parents ng bata sa harap ng prinicipal? baka masiraan na ng ulo ang principal![]()
One time sa baltimore my Americano friend told me i eat formal daw coz im eating ribs with my knife n fork... kamayan is he best way to eat ribs daw.....and how about KFC's "FINGER LICKEN GOOOOD" ? what can you say about that my French Canadian friend??
nagka rally na dahil sa dito but isang maliit na bagay punish agad ang bata? kung anak ko yon i will roast that s.o.b. alive and eat him with candle light formal dinner.
This all makes sense! For the longest time I've always wondered why the food courts in the malls here only supply a plastic fork and knife. Have you ever tried eating rice with a fork? The only way you'll get a spoon is if you order soup!
It's the Canadian way, honestly, I've been living here for 32 years and I never even knew there was a a "Canadian Way" to eating. Honestly, I much prefer the "Filipino Way", give me all the utensils!
