may nagsabi pa nga sa amin na maganda daw ang fengshui sa mga bahay na naka face sa north for this year, sabi ko eh north east ang facing ng bahay namin, pinapausog ba naman
kaya nga ang maganda siguro is stick with the basics at wag masyadong by the book. ipagdasal na lang yung iba

isa pa, sabi nila wag daw matulog na nakaharap sa pinto, kasi madalas daw magkakasakit... haay, ilang taon ko na ginagawa yan, ayan, hehe, ayaw ko mag salita, baka magkatotoo
it's all about the thinking lang talaga... if you keep thinking na may masamang mangyayari, no doubt talagang magkakatotoo yan, but on the other hand, if you always think positive, ganun din, lahat ng bagay magiging positibo...

June 15th, 2007 08:09 PM #13nothing's wrong with believing in feng shui. parang superstition den yan.
but spend 50k plus for the "expert's" fees plus the repairs/re-work? no way.
but i got friends in the planning circles. galit na galit sila diyan kase everytime a client consults a "fengshui expert" nagugulo daw yung plans to the point na nababalewala na daw yung mga pinag-aralan nila. :bwahaha:

Try asking ten different feng shui practitioner, ( I dont call them "master"), you will probably get ten different responses. Also, the architect or the interior designer would know some of the supposed basics of Feng shui so you can consult with one or both of them, to check the consistency and veracity of each.

A little bit OT:
Every year, tuwing malapit na ang Chinese New Year, naglalabasan sa mga TV ang mga Fengshui 'experts', advising this and that. I always avoid watching these kinds of shows, baka may magsabi sa kanila na hindi ako pwedeng lumabas ng bahay for the rest of the year, or hindi ako pwede magdrive, etc. Pucha, kahit ayokong maniwala e lagi ko naman maiisip yun at baka lalo pa akong madisgrasya

if you are a christian and fully believe the holy bible, you don't need feng shui. you cannot serve two gods at a time. for me its just a waste of time and energy while suffering your relationship with Christ.
just my two cents =)

walang masama kung maniwala pero yun basic lang at hinde naman yun fanatic na, when we build our house may mga basic lang akong sinunod but overall sinunod ko pa rin yun plan ng bahay...like yun main door daw dapat sa east, yun number ng steps ng stairs, I'm chinese pero hinde naman ako naniniwala dyan, makulit lang kasi nanay ko at pinagbigyan ko na sundan kahit konti...

guys, maraming salamat po sa mga inputs niyo. for a start ito bumili na lang kami ng isang fengshui book worth 375 pesos lang, kung baga DIY ang approach namin. we will just do the basic at wag maging panatiko kasi baka mag muka naman chinese temple ang bahay namin . at least ngayon sa mga nababasa namin, mas nalalaman na namin basically what are the preferred object, shapes and sizes of things na ilalagay namin sa bahay. balitaan ko kayo sa mga findings namin. Thanks again
Choice I would have made as well.
