The Bedrooms
They should be sacred spaces where an adult or child can retreat and regenerate. We spend roughly one third of our lives in our bedroom, so maintaining balance and serenity in this area is essential.
1) Your bedroom should be a private room, hence not to be seen by guests and visitors.
2) Your bedroom should not be over the garage, where stagnant and low energy accumulates and moves upward causing health problems.
3) The bed should be placed in such a position that both partners can see the door, but no part of the bed should be right in front of the door.
4) Put beds in front of a wall so you have a strong support behind you. There should be a solid wall behind the headboard. There can be windows to the sides of the bed, but not right behind it.
5) Ideally, it will not be immediately opposite, above or below the bathroom, kitchen, next to the living room or children's playroom.
6) You should see your bedroom door from your bed.
7) Bedroom door facing another bedroom door. Tempers might erupt occasionally among the occupants. To solve this problem, place a bead curtain in front of the room door.
8) Avoid bedroom door facing kitchen entrance.Nonetheless, occupants of the room will be prone to accidents and minor injuries and if the problem persists over time, occupants might encounter major accidents. To solve this problem, place a windscreen, hang a bead curtain in front of the kitchen entrance, or change the location of the room door.
9) Elevate all beds, including children's beds, off the ground. Energy cannot flow freely under a bed that is not elevated.
10) Your bed should be the only big piece of furniture in your bedroom.
11) Make sure all bedside tables have rounded edges and not square to prevent cutting chi being focused towards the occupants. If two sleep in the bed, ensure matching beside tables on either side for added stability and protection in the relationship
12) Large MIRRORS - are not recommended in the bedroom, because they are not conducive to a restful nights sleep. Mirrors reflect light... light is Yang Chi, which is active energy. By reflecting light mirrors stir-up the Chi in the bedroom, where you want the Chi to be more Yin / still and restful. Besides, mirrors could reflect your bedroom activities to the neighbor. This would not create a feeling of security and safety in the bedroom. Plus, if the mirror is in your "Lonely Pillow" direction, it will cause you to be single.
13) A headboard symbolically adds the idea of solidity and stability to a relationship. A wooden headboard is better than a metallic one. A solid headboard is better than one with cutouts. Headboards with vertical “bars ” are not recommended for the couple, as they are reminders of either cribs or prisons. Never hang anything cumbersome or heavy on the wall behind the headboard, only soft things that would not hurt anyone if they fell.
14) If you sleep with another, make sure your bed is symbolic of this relationship. Beds that are rickety or likely to fall part speak volumes about the state of the relationship
15) Avoid placing mirrors directly across from your bed.
16) Do not have too many windows in your bedroom, this will excite Chi.
17) An ideal bedroom should not have a mirror facing bed; the solution of the problem would be that you cover the mirror each night before retiring.
18) Bathrooms must not be seen from the bed. With bathrooms, it is a sanitation issue. Keeping the door closed or at least ajar is the simplest solution. Moving the bed would be another solution.
19) For the bedroom, avoid overly Yang colors such as red. Gold colors are also not good, since this can cause poor sleep. Try to incorporate relaxing and subtle colors instead. Dragon images are also not a good idea for the bedroom.
20) Avoid the use of synthetic materials, as well as electrical appliances in the bedroom.
21) Do not have exercising equipment in your bedroom
22) Do not store anything under your bed. This practice creates stagnant, blocked energy that can negatively impact you during sleep.
23) Avoid having too many electronics in your bedroom and keep nothing under the bed.
24) Favor earth tones and all colors that resemble skin tones, as they will create a warm feeling. This includes pink, brown, beige, yellow, cream, sand, etc. Have some accents in a shade or red, burgundy, or maroon, to add some fire to the relationship
25) To promote harmonious and fulfilling ***ual communication, keep the energy in your bedroom fresh, healthy and sensual by using essential oils, crystals, and candles.
26) Have light tones in your bedroom. Keep it calm and relaxing after all, you spend a lot of time there with your partner.
27) Keep your bedroom tidy and your closet door closed. Remember, your bedroom should be relaxing, comforting and nurturing. The chaos of clutter degrades your ability to relax.
28) Only romantic artwork, photos or ornaments are welcome in the master bedroom, as well as pictures of the couple where they both look happy.
29) Place something beautiful that inspires you where you first look in the morning.
