me naka/gumagamit na ba nito? i'm a bit skeptical about AMD processors ever since we had that overheating problem with some Athlon chips. Balita ko the bundled fan is not effective enough, and you need to buy "aftermarket" cpu fans

August 26th, 2005 01:13 PM #4why not buy the new sempron processors? Newer AMD procs don't have that overheating problem anymore. Am currently using an AMD Athlon 64 its turned on around 7-8 hours a day for 6 days a week, no probs so far regaring overheating.

pero tama rin ang observation mo badkuk. mas mabilis talaga uminit ang AMD processors compared sa Intel. pero, kaya naman ng mga aftermarket na fans.
what we do here in the office eh, naglalagay kami ng fan mismo sa ibabaw ng processor, tsaka mga 2 fans sa casing. kaya naman.
laki kasi ng price difference ng Intel and AMD eh.

August 27th, 2005 05:52 PM #11AMD used to have that problem, may customer kami na pilit bumili niyan for network gaming, kulit kasi ayaw makinig, nag-shshut down cpu niya sa init.
BUt now w/ the sempron processors, ok na siya, amd replaced the heat sink and fan to a bigger 1, kaya ok na siya ngayon.
