Listening is more than hearing. But if you fine tune your listening skills, you can decipher the personality, occupation, social status, educational background, mood, experience, marital status, ***ual preference, etc.
    example:
    Omg(guys?)
    If ever
    Ask ko lang------gayish

    Good to go
    Eta
    Etd
    Insertion point
    Extraction point-------military

Saan ka naka base (civilian)---social climber

Really? I don't use this but I never thought of it as SC lingo.

There are certain words that turn me off but I don't wanna ruffle feathers at the board

i use those words. i'm neither gay, military nor a social climber.

in these cases, actions speak louder than words. yung tipong macho magsalita pero pag nagturo umiikot muna ang kamay.

madami ma lost in translation dyan... sa mga terminologies that you stated, depende sa diction nung nagsalita before you can surmise kung nasaang leaning sya

Iba kasi ang OMG Guys !!!! na blurt out na galit to maintain civility in the workplace or anywhere else as compared to OMG Guys !! na malandi pagkakasabi

Subjective matter ito depends sa environment na nakasanayan din ng tao
