fake lacoste???

guys question lang...

bumili kasi kami ng shoes on sale from a lacoste boutique (stall inside a mall), then when i checked on the internet about the same model ng nabili ko to check it's normal price, napansin kong iba ang color (nun nasa internet) ng inner sole from the actual product that i bought.

all black yung color ng shoes, pero beige yun inner sole nung akin, but online all-black talaga pati inner sole. call me paranoid pero im thinking if authentic ba talaga ang nabili ko kahit na sa lacoste stall sya nabili?

nakakapagtaka kasi. kung anu ang pic and model na display sa advertisement ay di pala ganun actual. di kaya japayks yun? too late ko lang napansin.

kung lacoste botique mismo ikaw bumili for sure its original, di naman magbebenta ng fake yung mga official distributor ng lacoste siguro.

imho. if you bought in in an authentic lacoste shop, then its authentic.
sometimes, the pictures in catalogs are a little bit different from the actual products.

Lacoste products are made from different parts of the world.

It's likened to car variants which can also vary from different regions of release. This is why you will notice that the pair of shoes or a stripped shirt on the store wallpaper display visuals is "slightly different" from the actual product being sold.

This is because most of their photographic displays and catalogs come from a central source, say Europe, wherein they have "similar" sets of material texture, color shades and so on that may not be available for manufacturing of Lacoste products here in our asian region. Despite these slight diffrences, they are, no less, the genuine product.

Thanks to Macau, Hongkong, China and other countries that have tremendous counterfeiting technology, it is now more difficult to distinguish branded apparel.

I simply use common sense when buying these items like getting them directly from the official boutique or outlet. When shopping online, go to the official site and never from 3rd party vendors.

Kung sa Mall outlet yan binili sigurado orig na yan. Tsaka wag ka na ma conscious basta alam mo binili mo orig ok na yun. Pag may nagtanong kung orig suot mo sabihin mo ewan basta sa Rustan's ko binili

mas malaki ang mawawala sa licensed distributor kesa sa kikitain nila kung mandadaya sila.

maganda brand equity ng lacoste si pinas, at pag may maling ginawa ang distributor, maraming nakapila na papalit sa kanya.

Lacoste naman mismo pinagbilhan mo, hindi naman siguro magpapakasira official distro, diba? Besides, AFAIK yung may hawak sa Lacoste hawak din ibang upscale brands (same receipt), so malaki mawawala sa kanila.

About Lacoste shirts. May nabili ako na Lacoste shirt sa Lacoste outlet sa Singapore (Robinson's) during one of the Singapore Sale, for SGD 90.00. Pagdating sa atin, isinuot ng anak ko. Dami nagsasabi, fake daw. Samantalang sa outlet ko ito binili.

Alam ko orig yun. Bibihira na tuloy isuot nung anak ko...... Paano ba talaga malalaman kung peke yung nabili kong merchandise sa Lacoste outlet? (Meron ba talagan ganun? Pekeng merchandise sa Lacoste outlets? Di ba puro orig lang tinda roon?)

on their shirts it's easy to trace if its fake or not..makikita yun sa seams at sa fabric ng shirt and of course sa alligator logo..their shoes naman eh i've seen some na made in vietnam,china etc. and most of it look like it's not even worth your buck kasi mukhang substandard ang quality and looks really damn fake, still people buy it regardless where it's made. It may look "fake" but actually it's "orig".

What the TS probably got is yung original shoe pa rin pero dapat eh sa outlet stores intended to sell..what i mean is, these companies have products na strictly for the outlet stores and there's one for their regular stores too. from the factory they separate the products that are for outlet stores only thus the lower "discounted" price and if you go to a regular store they have a better selection and the "original" price.

IMO, if you bought a lacoste product from outside their stores then most probably and in some cases it's fake but not unless you really know where it came from or if you bought it on a reputable store. Otherwise if it's from their store then i wouldn't have doubts or problems on buying it because they fight piracy themselves diba so it should be "original".
