*Thread for anything that are "fail blog" worthy.
Iniba ko lang ang title to read as "blag" (pinoy na pinoy) to avoid 'copyright' issue from the original failblog.org site.

one example ang goon squad thread na to..

    for today,

Ganito kasi, suki rin ako dito. Pag meron news about vehicle-related news, madalas mali ang mga description nila. Meron pa nun yung CR-V ay AUV.

1 dead, 5 hurt as speeding car slams into tree

"MANILA, Philippines - A woman was killed while five others were injured after a speeding Asian utility vehicle (AUV) ploughed through lane separators before crashing into a tree at the Quezon City Memorial Circle early yesterday.

Traffic Sector 3 officials identified those injured as <names of victims> and <driver> 21, who drove the wrecked AUV (ZSR-545). Roxas and the injured were passengers in the AUV.

Investigators said witnesses saw the AUV allegedly racing against an unidentified taxicab before the accident."
It's like addressing PGMA as congresswoman rather than president!

    From LTO (2600):
    Plate #:ZSR545
    Make: Mitsubishi
    Model: Strada GLS 3.2 >>> PICK-UP truck
    Year: 2008
    Color: majestic red

    o, diba fail!

Actually it is normal for print reporters to do slight typos like this one especially if they are on a tight deadline.

Hanap buhay din kasi yan at, kung minsan, mahirap din depende sa situation.

I won't really call it fail since the report was detailed enough for the reading public - it identified the vehicle via its plate number which is sufficient enough for those concerned like possible relatives or friends to know the fate of the victims which is the very purpose of reports like these.

i think yung fail talaga is sa article AUV yung sasakyan pero sa LTO text 2600 e Mitsu Strada.

regarding the CRV being described as an AUV, ito yung ginawa ng honda para bumaba ang tax bracket ng CRV. they added 3rd row seats for it to be a 10-seater and classify it as an "AUV".
