Eyeglasses...anyone

this could be a sign na tumatanda na ako or masyado lang babad sa computer..hehe.. but lately, nahihirapan na ako magbasa so pinatingnan ko kahapon mata ko and the doctor said i need to wear one.. so i got myself a pair of reading glasses 100/100...

kinda felt nerdy wearing one coz this is my first but masasanay din siguro pagtagal..

how bout you guys/gals.. anybody wearing one? ano grado..

i used to wear one. astigmatism daw kaya lumabo ang mata ko at sumasakit ang ulo ko. astig!!!

pero after a year, sumasakit na uli ulo ko at mata kahit na may gamit na EG.
nag try akong di na suotin, nawala na sakit ng mata at ulo. malamang, mejo naayos na mata ko, sana.

now paminsan minsan ko nalang suotin. nerdy nga ang dating kasi cheapipay lang ang kinuha ko. purpose ko kasi umayos lang ang grade at bumalik sa normal, if possible pa.

90/60 yata un akin.

kelangan pang kumain ng marami pang kalabasa!

Don't feel nerdy when you wear a pair, in naman yan ngayon eh yung iba nga wala namang grade basta naka eye glass for smart effect daw hihihi.

If you must wear them often, get a good frame like Oakley para cool pa rin.

I don't wear mine as often as before ever since I started to go to bed before 11pm daily. It really helps improve eyesight, in my experience.

i used to wear one. my eyes are 175/125. cannot really get used to it dahil mabigat yung frame na gamit ko, so i switched to contacts.

i would really want to ditch my contacts already dahil napaka cumbersome sya every morning. pag natutuyo pa ang mata, ang hapdi.

if ever i go back to wearing glasses, i would really want the oakley frame, pero mahal ata sya. magkano ba price range nun?

There are lightweight yet not so expensive frames nowadays...visit your favorite optical shops and there are more practical titanium frames aside from oakleys

If you're measure of coolness is dictated by brands, then be ready to shell out the cash.

I got mine for 12k about two years ago. I know, I know it's more expensive than some of their sunglasses but the finish and look is so damn good!

I wear glasses too. Forgot the grade I think 150 both sides or maybe 175?

I think I have 3 pairs of glasses. One I use always. One I can't find, and one laos na yung design

Same thing happened to me during my grade school years; astigmatism tapos glasses tapos bigla na lang naging 20/20. Nalipat sa sister ko yung astigmatism, so now she wears contacts.

I also used to think that I looked geeky wearing glasses back then, pero inisip ko na lang na ako si Clark Kent. :D

mababa pa lang grade nyo. ako 500/600 hehehehe Tapos may astigmatism rin. Mahirap talaga! Sakit pa sa bulsa.
Makano kaya yun oakley na EG? Maganda ba talaga?

Been wearing glasses since high school. -4.50 parehas na mata. Kung regular lense ang gagamitin baka mahiya ang magnifying glass sa kapal...
Kidding aside, i choose ultra thin lenses, and they are OK kasi hindi mo mahahalata yung kapal ng lente. Yung frame ko naman is by Guess, magaan lang sa mukha and hindi bumabakat yung nose pads.
Gumagamit ako ng contact lense (disposable) pag special occasions, when wearing glasses doesnt fit or awkward. So, yun. Honestly mahirap ang malabo ang mata. Lalo na kung patay na ang ilaw...
By the way, nearsighted ako.

I agree with sir HG. Kahit pa siguro isang baldeng solution ang ipatak mo sa mata, ala parin, dry paren sya.

i've been wearing glasses since 1999. nag start na kasi sumakit ulo ko... pag grabe sakit, minsan i throw up pa... astigmatism pala... grade ng lens ko is 75/50... but lately, i noticed na medyo nahihirapan akong magbasa lalo na pag malapitan binabasa ko... pag tinanggal ko naman glasses ko, lumiliwanag... when i had my eyes checked, nearsighted pala ko... kailangan daw ng reading glasses pag nagbabasa... pero it's up to me naman daw if i want to wear one na... kung ayaw ko pa, i just need to take my glasses off kung magbabasa ko...BTW, all of us in the family, hubby and son are wearing glasses... malala yung sa son ko... 525 grado ng mata nya.

Been using since 1991, am contemplating having Lasik. I prefer plastic frame coz I sweat a lot and after a couple of months the end piece of the frame will corrode and it'll start to have abrasion from the temple all the way to the ears. For the lens its always ultra thin, multi coated and scratch resistant.
