IMO false sense of security dahil sa laki ng oto... sa snowy parts ng US mga 4x4 na malalaki usually makikita mo sa aksidente, feeling nila kasi porke malaki at 4x4 kakapit, not realizing that the weight and size of the car makes traction harder to come by.

Maybe this is really an unfortunate accident.
What is interesting in this news article is that the seat belts caused injuries to the passengers at the back seat. Sa U.S., the vehicle owner could sue the car manufacturer if its a verified safety issue.
Saka hindi rin sinabi sa balita na ito whether the driver and his front seat passenger were both wearing their seat belts at that time. Their injuries look like their faces hitting the windshield.

kung hindi expe dala niya baka patay na sila. still its safer sa bigger cars (except gen 1 f150) kaysa sa sedan or any van. I'd pay extra for my family's safety. :car:

um...outer lane daw. not to be too insensitive, pero did they use the real outer lane, or the shoulder? di kaya they just hit a rock which blew the tire if they were in the shoulder?
still, badtrip yan.
Choice I would have made as well.
